NOMZ - Restaurant & Bar - Akron, OH

Went on a Saturday and waited an hour and 15 mins for my food… just for them to say the ticket never made it back to the kitchen. There were only 2 people working so I know they were doing their best but I’m very disappointed. Unless this is a fluke, I would expect slow and unapologetic service.

Walked in with my family at 330 to try this place out and the lady up front says, “we closed at 3.” Kind of confused because we’re just passing through town and the northern market was something we aren’t familiar with, we said oh ok and walked out. We happened to read their hours on the way out and their sign said they closed at 5. So we went back in to double check and asked if Nomz was closed and she said, “yeah, Google has it right.”

But their window doesn’t, their website doesn’t, yelp doesn’t… Damn girl. Don’t just stop at google when you’re changing your hours. Even then, lock your doors from the front when you close so people don’t walk in a whole half hour after you’re closed. Anyway, this lady was really off putting and should work on her delivery so her customers don’t feel like THEY’RE the idiot when your business is closed and you didn’t lock your doors. Just be nicer because that was a crappy interaction.

Trying this Restaurant NOMZ for the first time and ordering the Vegan BLT on gluten free bread was a major disappointment and for the price. The bacon was nil, one sliver. We ask the preparer if we were ordering a regular BLT how many slices would they have used, the responses was 3. Being that it was made of rice paper, it should have been an abundance of vegan bacon. We may as well have ordered a lettuce sandwich with an added price of $4 for a sliver of avocado. The high tables we not clean, the preparer was apologetic but the bar waitress looked passed us and didn't ask if we wanted anything. We will not go back to this place. We left hungry.

Lo fluffs my eggs up some special type of way. Shi hits me with the perfect espresso martini. Highly recommend this place, especially if your staying in the hotel.

Great prices and drinks! Will be back to get more food!

It took an hour and a half to get a croissant sandwich. 45 minutes for a smoothie. The potatoes were undercooked but the sandwich was great.

This facility has severe management issues and they only cook food an order at a time versus managing several orders at once.

If you have obligations, do not come here. If you’re there to chill, then be prepared for a two hour wait, and that’s being generous.

We waited for 2 hours and never even received our entire order. Ended up having to request a refund just so that we could leave the establishment. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place

Waited over an hour and our ticket was “lost” twice:( the coffee they served was also pure syrup and milk:( overall very disappointed because it looked like a great place but they were very disorganized, forgot our order and the only good thing was that we got our money back… not our time though :(((

5 STARS for KRISTA ! Idk if she’s the owner or just a dedicated employee who is Irreplaceable ! She rocked the house tonight and made our Party feel invited and welcomed ! EVERYONE should be trained by Krista and her expertise in Customer service ! WOW ! Drop a shrimp
