We visited NuVue for the first time last night and had a pretty outstanding experience overall. We will definitely be back again. After looking at the website, we were excited to check it out. When we arrived, I was concerned that we had made a mistake. Visually, the aesthetic was a bit cold, loud, and uninviting. I was feeling kind of dive-ish sports bar vibes-- not really in alignment with the more elevated feel of the website or menu.
However, the noise and visuals were in stark contrast to the warm welcome we received from staff the moment we stepped in the door. Our server (Julie C.) was *excellent.* I appreciated her pacing and availability. The staff clearly works as a team, enjoys working together, and takes pride in what they do. Everyone who came to our table was lovely and engaging. They created such a warm and inviting atmosphere and really made us want to come back.
We had the crab cakes appetizer with jalapeno tartar sauce- outstanding. The crab cakes were sweet and succulent with just enough filler to bind them together. Definitely one of the best I've ever had. The tartar sauce is a standout- I'd be happy to order a bottle of it to take home.
Next we had Caesar salads- excellent again. Homemade dressing, delicious. The rosemary chicken sandwich was good, and the fries were fresh and hot. The ahi tuna with sesame noodles was delicious, and I was glad they offered soy sauce as it needed a bit more salt for my taste. I also had a dirty martini (well, 2 actually ?), and they were both fantastic. The first one was a little too briny for me, and they adjusted the second perfectly when I asked.
I think the space could benefit from some acoustic modification and a little more warmth visually, but overall the experience was fantastic. We look forward to our next visit!

The pork chop is unbelievably good, looks bad when served but don't let the looks deceive you. The best chop around, could tell it was not cheap pork either. Crabcakes were awesome, friendly staff, can't wait to come back!

One of best restaurants around. Not only is ALL of the staff friendly, but the people dining there. I enjoy each time I visit. The food is outstanding! Give them a try!!!

Wow… as a Richfield resident we always love to support local businesses and this restaurant is simply amazing. The steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I had the specialty margarita and was very much impressed. The seafood special included a very generous portion. The prices are very affordable. Will most definitely be back.

Made my first trip to Nuvue bar and grill and will definitely be coming back. Great atmosphere, impeccable service and unbelievable food. The crab cakes take me back to sitting on the Chesapeake Bay, the Philly cheesesteak was mouth watering from the first bite to the last. Chef Neil has developed a menu for everyone. If I could give more than 5 stars i would!
