I treated myself after quitting my transitional job and preparing for the the next golden position that God has in store for me. My steak, that was only $14.99 was juicey and cooked to perfection! Service was genuine, top notch and friendly. Febie was terrific! Thank you for the great escape...also a wonderful way to pre-celerate my birthday! Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with The Old 97 when planning our wedding. We paid an $1,800 deposit to reserve a date, but ultimately had to cancel due to repeated issues with the planning process.
The coordinator we worked with was extremely disorganized and made multiple significant mistakes, including confusion over important dates, errors with our food order, and other key details that made us lose confidence in their ability to handle such an important event. We never even reached the point of having a food tasting.
Because of these ongoing problems, we decided to cancel our event with over six months’ notice. Despite giving them plenty of time to rebook the date, they refused to return any portion of our deposit. We never signed anything stating the deposit was non-refundable, and we were shocked by their unwillingness to work with us after the issues we experienced.
We had hoped for professionalism and understanding, but instead we were left feeling taken advantage of and out a significant amount of money with nothing to show for it.
I would strongly caution other couples to get everything in writing upfront and carefully consider whether this venue is the right fit before committing financially

I want to clarify additional facts from our experience. We canceled our event specifically due to ongoing communication and organizational issues with your coordinator. One major example is that our scheduled tasting was forgotten entirely and then abruptly rescheduled at midnight the night before. I still have the text thread documenting this, along with multiple other messages showing confusion about dates and details throughout the process.
These repeated issues are exactly why we lost confidence in your ability to execute such an important event and ultimately made the difficult decision to cancel with over six months’ notice.
Regarding the deposit, I asked multiple times for written documentation showing that the $1,800 we paid was non-refundable. No such documentation was ever provided to us, and we never signed anything clearly stating those terms. That lack of transparency is another reason we felt uncomfortable moving forward.
Your response references “clear communication, organization, and successful execution,” but unfortunately our direct experience was the opposite and the reason we did not want to reschedule, and we have the messages to support that.
We did not cancel because “plans changed.” We canceled because of repeated disorganization and miscommunication that made us feel our wedding would not be handled professionally.
We simply wanted a fair resolution and the return of funds for services that were never provided.

Just recently discovered this hidden gem. The food is good, and the drinks are amazing; but what really sets them apart is the service. Everyone from the owners to the wait staff are friendly, welcoming, and obviously truly concerned that every guest is completely satisfied. Our first night there, we met a half dozen of the staff, including both owners, and they made us feel like family immediately. If you’re looking for a quaint little pub, where you will fit right in, while enjoying some amazing martinis and good food, this is the place to be. Can’t wait for bike nights to start!

This is a little gem in Kenmore. A great place for live music on the patio. Been there a half dozen times and every time food and service was very good.
