The karibbean dream cake was very good!
I got half and half plate. Was jerk chicken wings and curry goat with cabbage and rice.
She only gave one piece of chicken but charged me a half and half. The cabbage was good! But the rice and sauce for the curry was hella salty!! Couldn't finish the food because of all the salt! No spice to it. Not the flavors I was looking for.
The food was amazing, tried this place for the first time today and my husband and I couldn’t believe we had never been there before.
We had chicken, goat, plantains, Mac and cheese and also tried the pineapple ginger drink.
Enjoyed all the food and can’t wait to go back. Our sons also enjoyed it (under 5)!

We had a wonderful meal. The vegetarian stew was so flavorful, it was served over the rice and peas. The bbq wings had a nice spice without being too hot, and the cabbage side was great. I can't wait to go back. I think I'm going to have to try the coconut shrimp.

Wow! Today was my first time eating here, I got the Curry Goat and it is absolutely phenomenal! Honestly, it’s probably the best Curry Goat I ever had! Thank you, One Love, I’ll be back to try more!!

DoorDash delivery. It was my first time trying the food here and I can’t say I was impressed. The curry chicken lacked flavor, and chicken!! Most of what looked like chicken was bones, and the bone fragments were so tiny that it made it impossible to enjoy. I ordered this to share with my toddler in the ER and it was horrible trying to pick out all the little pieces of bone for us and having to guess what was chicken and what wasn’t.
I also ordered a slice of chocolate cake. Pretty dry for a cake advertised as “decadent” on DoorDash. The only thing I liked was the Pink Ting and obviously they don’t make that.
I grew up eating Jamaican food. I’m sorry to say that I didn’t like this place… I really wanted to.

Literally my #1 favorite food in Akron. I hope they never close. I’ve had a little bit of everything and you can’t go wrong. Every dish smacks. Everyone who works there really embodies ONE LOVE, I always leave feeling like I just got a hug. Very fair prices for the quality, cost and portion of food they are making, in my opinion. I also really appreciate how they switch up the specials and which items they have at any given point. No two visits have been the same which keeps it interesting. My top 2 items would have to be the oxtail and jerk chicken. (Photo shows coconut shrimp)

Just found this gem of a restaurant! IN LOVE. GREAT food and super nice staff. I will be back often! Jerk chicken, rice with carrots and peas, plantains, potato salad, amazing hot sauce... Yes yes yes. Cute little place too.

Personally, we were excited to try this new place, but after experiencing it for the first time, it is well overpriced for the proportion and content of food that you get. Basically, it’s four very small pieces of chicken; it equated to two small chicken thighs that are cut in half and marinated. Nearly $19 for this particular dish, the large jerk chicken, being accompanied by rice and cabbage and a couple of plantains. The cost of this dish, could not possibly be more $7 or $8 at best to make. So when it’s priced at $19 a plate, it’s overpriced for sure. Under normal circumstances, chicken thighs are relatively moist, but these were overcooked and dried out considerably. In addition, there was a small 3 1/2“ x 3 1/2“ macaroni and cheese square. Priced at six dollars. Absolutely ridiculous. I can’t about write the service nor the atmosphere because we did not come in and dine. We had it delivered. I did not post any pictures of the food because it was thrown together haphazardly and looked very un appealing.
