Arrived a bit early, they were able to seat us right away. We had the usual good meal and our server Mike was attentive and very efficient. 

One of the best values in Akron. Great food, amazing staff - plus family owned & operated. A must go!

The food and service were excellent. My only complaint was where I was sitting, there was ice cold air coming out of a ceiling vent, which made it very uncomfortable.

My reservation requested bar seating. We didn't get that.. we were seated in a large, very noisy, extremely cold area with wind blowing, in, of the restaurant with very annoying loud party nearby.. thus my initial request for bar seating for a calm, cozy , dinner in the bar. I was very disappointed as I was entertaining guests whom I wished to impress with this restaurant. I was embarrassed

Food was excellent, service was lacking though. I asked the waitress to wrap my leftover fish in foil prior to putting in container as the person I was riding with does not like fish and I did not want to smell in their car. I noticed an "eye Roll" from her which I did not appreciate. $70 plus tip is a hefty price for 2 but food was superior.

We asked the server for a minute to make our selections, and then she disappeared for over 15 minutes while we sat waiting. Once she finally took our order, the experience felt rushed. I also felt like we had the worst table in the restaurant, right next to the server station and the many spray bottles of cleaner sitting feet away from me. Overall, it was not a typical experience for me there, which is why I was so disappointed.

Food was cold and service was terrible. Food sat on a tray for extended period of time before waitress delivered to table. I ordered pasta which the serving was about the size of a cupcake. Flavor was not there. Another associated ordered fish and I got sick the night after. We have eaten there many times and we're extremely disappointed

Wonderful. Had to wait even though we had a reservation. 100% worth it. The food was amazing.

The best chicken Parmesan ! Love that their wine prices are retail and not marked up like everywhere else ! Will be going back !

The prime rib, petite, was plenty large enough for one person and delicious. Same goes for the lasagna..

We went for the prime rib and we weren't disappointed. I asked for fries, which I wasn't a fan of. They tasted as if they were fried in the same oil the fish was. Overall though, we're definitely going back.

Had the pork special. It was great. My friend had the veal parmigiana which he really enjoyed

The food is always phenomenal here, my favorite is the eggplant Parmesan. We tried one of their specials appetizers, and it was good but we wish there was a little more to it. Our waitress was great and personable. We love going here and will be back in November to try their thanksgiving menu!

We loved our meals here. I had the Chicken Coq au Vin, which was a monthly special and was simply amazing. My husband had the Chicken Francaise, which is a tender and delicious classic on the menu. We shared the Palermo Rollatini which was a (monthly special) baked eggplant dish, it was exceptional. We loved having soup/salad/roll INCLUDED with our meal which made a good value. Also- the glass of wine is always a nice sized pour which always makes me happy. Another comment- we were in Sicily and also Provence France in September and October and these dishes held up to some of the best we had in those regions (where these dishes originated) . Truly- my husband and I both commented on this. We sat in the bar which is cozy and kinda dark and old-school atmospheric (use your phone flashlight to read the menu) and last observation- our waitress as well as the hostess were both exceptionally kind and professional. The waitress helped narrow down my choice and I was very grateful as she was spot- on. This restaurant is an Akron institution for good reason, and it's always a pleasure and great experience to dine here. We both commented on how we need to get this in our restaurant rotation more frequently.

Great "Old school" Italian restaurant. Great feel. The Chicken Parm and Calamari were money!!!
