My wife had a work dinner here and loved it so much she drove me back over the next day! Wonderful all the way around. Chicken Francais and Veal Marsala.

My husband and I rediscovered this place about a year ago . We went on a Saturday night and did not have reservations. They were really busy, but they managed to get us in. They made us feel welcome and our service was excellent. I would say the best customer service I have ever had! My husband had prime rib and I had the chicken fricassee. The food was excellent, not to mention their white french dressing. which you can purchase in the store . We have been back several times and I would highly recommend Papa Joes.

Absolutely love this place. Such a throwback to older Italian restaurants that I grew up with. Top quality food and service. Zoe was truly awesome.

The tomato sauce is outstanding. I would recommend any chicken and pasta dish. The lasagna tastes homemade. No corners were cut with any dish.

The Good: The food is delicious, and the white French dressing is exceptional. Mike provided excellent, friendly service.

The Bad: Unfortunately, a waitress took my small plate away while I was still buttering my roll, which felt rushed and awkward. When my gnocchi arrived, the portion was disappointing - just 12 small pieces swimming in a sea of maple butter - especially compared to the full plates of gnocchi my dining companions received. Lastly, the menu didn’t indicate that the pumpkin cheesecake contains nuts, which is a bit worrisome for those with sensitivities like mine. Had I known, I would have chosen something else.

While I appreciated them being open on Thanksgiving, I don’t feel inclined to go back.

Stodgy, heavy, and meaty. Poor vegetarian options. If that is what you’re after, you’ll love it!

Have been coming here for years, used to be great food. This time half of the tables food was cold, and the “risotto” was like extremely dry overcooked dirty rice.. not risotto. The service was great, but food has gone down hill from what it used to be it seems.

Emma and Bobby were so amazing to me. I had several requests that they were happy to do for me. They automatically carried everything to my car with such sincere kindness. I think that deserves recognition. Not many businesses care about their patrons like this anymore. It made my day, and we will continue to patronize Papa Joe's. Thank you Emma and Bobby. 🙂

Don’t even bother with a reservation, as you’re still GUARANTEED to wait to be sat. Told that the bar is first come first serve, yet they allow reservations in the bar for regulars. Tried to talk to the old female manager about this and she just wanted to argue with me and was not very friendly. I was told that I “didn’t have to dine here again” if the reservation was an issue. The entire point of a reservation is so you don’t have to wait to be sat. I understand that there are busy nights but this is a frequent problem. Food quality is not worth the wait.

We had a less than ideal experience and will not be going back or recommending Papa Joe's to our friends.

We had dinner reservations for our one year wedding anniversary. We were sat promptly but our server took 20 minutes to take a drink order. When we received our drinks by somebody else, he noticed we didn't have any waters either so he brought waters and then our drinks. We ordered the calamari and while it was light in flavor which was nice, the texture was chewy and needed some crispiness to it. The dipping sauce was fantastic though.

We ordered the prime rib petite and spinach cannelloni. Our salads came with white french dressing and the salad was the highlight of our dining experience. Our mains came out and my prime rib was the fatiest prime rib I've ever seen and was being waterboarded by au jus. I also ordered a side of horseradish sauce that was never delivered. The spinach cannelloni was so oily and saucy that it was very off-putting. We ordered the cannolis for desert and they were decent.

Finally, when our check arrived, it was incorrect by around $20 for deserts we never ordered. It took a while for our server to check on us constantly through the night and he kept reeking of cigarette smoke. I don't care if you smoke, but wash your hands after because it was a very strong smell that overall took away from the dining experience.
