I've been telling my family that this is my favorite restaurant for the last two years. I finally got to take my dad here. He tried the veal scallopini and loved it. He said wow with every bite. I love trying their specials every month. There is a reason why this place is always packed and why I keep returning. It's amazing.

Service was fantastic, The atmosphere was comfortable. I had the Chicken Parmesan, my wife had the Lasagna. The chicken was good but the red sauce was not good, It had an overwhelming and unbalanced garlic( salt) flavor, Neither of us finished our meal. The rolls were good as

First time at Papa Joe’s. All around great experience. Had calamari and fried zucchini for apps, veal parmesan for dinner and the chocolate ganache cake for dessert. Everything was outstanding. The wait staff is superb. Definitely recommend and will be back.

First time there. Food was very good. Very busy, our server worked very hard and did well. But she was probably assigned a couple too many tables for one person to handle. I would go again just not on a Saturday evening.

My husband and I went there for dinner tonight. We enjoyed our food, but the service wasn’t great. We walked up to the counter and were completely ignored by the two men standing there…instead, they happily greeted the couple behind us (who are clearly regulars at that restaurant). We just stood there awkwardly while they took off their coats, talked and were shown to their table. Im not saying we needed anything huge, but a nice ‘hello, we’ll be with you in a moment’ would have been nice.

The food is amazing, and it’s a nice atmosphere, but if you go in looking like you don’t belong, they will 100% either sit you right next to the kitchen, or in the bar. This is the 4th time this has happened to my partner and I, we show up wearing the nicest clothes we have (which aren’t very nice I will say) and every time they seat us someplace where others can’t see us, and even better, the server will treat us like street trash. We were there last night and our server was laughing and talking to other customers, even patting them on the back, he comes over to our table and can’t even say your welcome when we tell him thank you, he just treated us like we didn’t belong there. Now this won’t stop me from going in the future, their prime rib is to die for. But we won’t be thanking our server if they continuously treat us like this. If they wanna treat us like trash that’s how I’ll treat them. Smaller tips too!

Had a reservation. They couldn't even articulate to me if they had our reservation or not. Basically I don't think they honor them. Waited for 30 minutes and decided to leave. Must be great food based on how busy it was. We just didn't have the patience. And no bar to wait at.

Went the day after Valentine's Day and it was wonderful! The live music, decorations, and lighting were spot on. The lasagna and three cheese ravioli were delicious. We also ordered the bread appetizer, and it was amazing. There were only two of us, so we had plenty of bread to eat throughout the meal and still took half of it home. We'll certainly be back!

Another great meal at Papa Joe's. Had the lamb chops, which were excellent. Our server, Stacey, was great, and the live music with Rolando topped off an outstanding evening. We always enjoy our time at Papa Joe's.

Papa Joe's is a wonderful dining experience. The food is delicious and the portions are more than adequate. Prices are reasonable and the value for your money is well worth it. We will definitely be dining there again soon.

It is always lovely at Papa Joes. I would say that for Valentines I was expecting to be sat in the main dining room given I had made a reservation several weeks before. However, they sat us in the bar and it was not the ambiance I was going for for Valentines Day.

Started with stuffed mushroom appetizer--lucious! Had the Petite Prime Rib (only offered on Wednesday, Friday and Sat.)--NOT petite at all! We both took some home and it was wonderful. Not overly seasoned, as with some restaurants. Delicious, and offered with horseradish and creamy horseradish sauce. Wonderful dinner for Valentine's Day celebration. We also had the best Spumoni ice cream I ever ate. Worth it at any time.

Went for an early dinner on Valentine's Day and it exceeded expectations. I had THE best lobster tail I have ever eaten. It was a special that evening and worth the price. My husband had the pasta with Italian sausage and meatballs, he loved it. Our cocktails were excellent. Our server Caden was exceptionally attentive and pleasant. The place runs like a well oiled machine with multiple staff to take care of every aspect of the dining experience and ensure an exquisite evening. The owners are friendly and conscientious of how they welcome and care for their guests.

Just revisited Papa Joes in Akron after not being there for a while. The restaurant is definitely an Akron institution. We arrived early in the evening and the place wasn't busy. Unfortunately, our entire meal came out lukewarm at best. However, the service was top-notch and the atmosphere was cozy. We'll give it another try in the future. Overall, a neutral experience. ?️?
