Happy to find a closer location to us in Medina. We love Pav’s! Staff at this location were super friendly! Excellent ice cream! If you haven’t tried Death by Chocolate, you’re missing out.

service good, seating (outside especially!) good, and always GREAT ice cream! also love bringing my dog here because of the pup cups and outdoor seating-- she always lives her best life!
also, make sure to check their freezer: they usually have $3 pints-- like what a deal!!
The interior was clean and tastefully done, while the balcony outside is a nice place to enjoy ice cream or kustard. After a bit of inquiry, I learned that the ingredients of the ice cream and kustard are the same.
This makes sense; frozen "Custard" is legally required to have a minimum amount of egg yolk content while a frozen dessert spelled "kustard" is not the same as "custard." The machines they use to make them are different, with "kustard" being thicker and seeming creamier, also, maintained at a higher temperature.
I ordered a mint ice cream. I was surprised at how gummy the texture was. It reminded me of the texture of a starburst melted in a hot car (except, cold I guess). I could dip my spoon into tho dish, pull it out, and the ice cream would stretch like something off Nickelodeon. I guess if gummy is your style of ice cream, you will really like this.
I prefer ice cream I can take the edge of the spoon and gather shavings, which is a good ice cream lacking stabilizers/gums. Only in recent decades did companies add gums, thickeners, and stabilizers to ice cream, changing the product. Now it's hard to find a good ice cream without gums and stabilizers.
I would probably come back for the atmosphere and chance to lounge on the balcony on a summer evening but the ice cream itself wasn't my style.

I think the staff were overwhelmed, just trying to get through the day. Little to no interaction between customers and staff. More of a production line. Outdoor area was a nice touch. Entry was odd, parking on a different level, signage to enter Pav’s was not clear.

I love Pav’s but had such a bad experience last night - I wanted to be sure the owner/ manager was aware. There was a small group of us that arrived at 9:10pm, knowing the shop closes at 9:30pm. There were still customers in the store and the sign said “open” but the door was locked. I stayed at the door for a few minutes trying to get someone’s attention but when one of the girls behind the counter saw me, she immediately turned away and ignored me. I saw this happen to another group trying to get in as well. More people came down trying to enter and eventually after knocking, a male worker let us in. He appeared to not know that the door was locked but it was very obvious the girls working behind the counter were well aware and looked extremely irritated that he let us in. At this point, many other customers gad given up and left. The girl taking our order was far from happy to have us there and the other girls behind the counter were clearly annoyed that they had to take out the equipment they already cleaned and put away for the night. I grew up working in restaurants so I know the feeling when someone walks in close to closing time but with 20 minutes left open, it’s hard to justify this behavior. We got our order after a lot of passive aggressive looks but I do think the owner should be aware that you are losing customers by having employees close early. I’d hate to see such a nice place go downhill because of poor customer service. Hoping for a better experience in the future if I go to the Bath location again.

Pretty mid level ice cream. Would expect something featuring real fruit and less artificial flavoring for the price. Had the peach ice custard which tasted similar to a McDonald's milkshake. Service was good and atmosphere decent.

Young female employees desperately need customer service training as I stood at the counter waiting for a pickup order for 10 minutes, disregarded and walked right past repeatedly by 4 employees before someone finally decided to ask if I were “waiting for something”. As if I was just standing there for no reason.

Pav's is an experience you don't want to miss. If you're just visiting or a local it's like a must do/go to for satisfying that sweet tooth. You can't go wrong and the prices are really reasonable.
