The place looks closed and possibly condemned both outside and in. If it had not been for the lit open sign I wouldn’t have even gotten out of my car. It took several minutes for someone to come out even though I am sure the lady in the kitchen saw me at the window iver the huge amount of boxes and junk. When the man came out to this tiny opening they are calling the pick up counter he asked me what I wanted and I told him my name as I had ordered on their app. I came at the time the app said my food would be ready only to find out they had not even seen it yet (it had been a half hour). When my food was ready the man did ask me if I wanted extra sauces or fortune cookies instead of just dumping a bunch in the bag which was nice. My food was good, the chicken was frozen but cooked up well. The owners need to seriously clean up the front or at least clean the windows. They should also do something about all the boxes and junk before the fire and health departments come around.

We ordered cia DoorDash, so this review is solely based on the food. And let me say, my chicken lo-mein was fantastic! The brown sauce is extremely flavorful, the chicken wasn't rubbery, and the veggies were not overpowering. Some of the best lo-mein I've ever had.

It’s well known in the Highland Square community the owners of Platinum dragon(a husband and wife)will sadly not serve every minority. They will not greet you or even take your order this is not an exaggeration. I am a business professional, there is no need for such discrimination. I have experienced this alone and two separate occasions with friends who I brought along as witnesses. This is not a false cry of intolerance this is blatant discrimination.

Food is decent and cheap, but that is the nicest thing I can say. Here it is take out or take your business elsewhere. This place definitely has taken a turn for the worse since the pandemic. If you want better Chinese food, go to Chin's Place, Jade Dragon or the buffet in Chapel Hill.

I thought the food itself was actually quite good - it was some of the most flavorful Chinese I’ve had in a while. The Mapo Tofu was especially good.

I ordered here by accident, confusing them with another Chinese restaurant up the road. Some of the food was better than we expected, some not. I love that they put bean sprouts in the fried rice and the bourbon and orange chicken sauces were very good. However, I ordered chow mein which for some reason was just cabbage and lettuce with a white sauce on it, no noodles or really anything else in the dish, very unappetizing and I threw it out. The egg rolls could use a better filling I think it was just cabbage and something red? Lastly they do not take discover cards, a sign or notice ahead of time for that would be nice. I hope they consider a nicer looking entry way, it's pretty shady looking, small improvements should keep them in business longer.

Do not order the orange chicken or the bourbon chicken because you won’t be able to chew it, it will be so tough and over-cooked and burnt. They no longer provide a container of white rice or fortune cookies with your meal so don’t expect that either.

Lol the interior looks super sketchy but the takeout general tso's chicken combo tastes great and is priced reasonably.

Literally the nastiest restaurant owners I’ve ever encountered in my life! I have bent over backwards to support this restaurant since COVID hurt their business. They don’t care! They are the rudest, most awful people when you pick up your order, or ask for any modification to anything. It’s a shame, because their food is decent, but I can’t ever give a penny again to people who are so completely awful to customers of 20 years.

I’m here now at the establishment door dashing. It took three hellos to get any communication. Finally, the only person here, and I get it only being one person, he finally said one minute. I responded thanks for your communication. It’s sad it took that many greetings to be acknowledged in an establishment.

This was the 5th Chinese restaurant in six months we have ordered sweet and sour chicken from. Platinum Dragoon was the only restaurant mom liked this dish from. Finally. The fried pot stickers and General Tso's chicken with fried rice purchase elsewhere don't waste your time and money. The pot stickers were hard on the ends and the inside was partially filled...must be the recession. The sauce was bland and thin which is nothing like any General tsos sauce we have ever tried.

The food wasn't very good at all. They forgot a portion of the order and my husband ordered Mongolian beef and there was at least 2 onions chopped up in it. There was very little beef in it. It was very disappointing for the amount of money we spent
