I will deeply miss this place. R. Shea was a staple of both downtown Akron and Canal place. Their beers are fantastic and I love the atmosphere and service of both locations. I've been here countless times and always received amazing service. The food and drink are both fantastic and I like how the menu differs from the valley location.Parking: It's usually hard to find a spot near the entrance. You may have to walk a bit. The parking lot is huge and free though.Kid-friendliness: I see kids here a lot with their family. The atmosphere is family friendly, sit-down style.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp

Tried this place for the first time, and it was definitely a fun place to go. The food was good as was the service, and they have a pretty interesting open area that they use for events where you can actually see all of the brewing equipment.Parking: Be aware that the parking lot is gravel, so if you have low profile tires you may want to be careful here.

Eclectic variety of craft beers. Something for everyone. Wine and liquor available. Great pub food. Unique 'industrial' atmosphere.

R. Shea Brewing in Canal Place Downtown was a pretty cool experience! The atmosphere is like something I never saw before... a restaurant/brewery inside of a old warehouse /building. Was very cool and love the idea! At the time we went they had a Christmas Party on the lower half going on which looked awesome. The bar here is a pretty large with TV's. The food was pretty good! Had the Pretzels with Cheese to start, we both like it. I LOVED the Chick and Waffles they made, they were so delicious! We would have to come back out one day!

12/16/2023:I've been here a few times now and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely need to check it out to hang out and enjoy a relaxing good time. One drawback on this last visit was that it was pretty busy and service was really, really slow. Pizza was delicious!!!????:We love coming here and trying all that they have! It's definitely a must try if you haven't yet

The taproom transformed into a gallery, merging the flavors of craft beer with the vibrant hues of local art, creating a fusion that ignited conversations and inspired creativity.

Went for the All the creatures pop up market and was super impressed. Really cool space and the atmosphere was awesome. Love that you guys shared the space you have to make the pop up market happen. Everything was so cool and everyone was so nice and friendly. Thank you!! ?

The cooks were not doing well in the back, not enough staff to accommodate how busy they were. The prices were also nonsensical for most of the stuff. Food was good and the waitress was friendly and accommodating.
