Domenic's Rose Villa Restaurant

What an experience of a local restaurant. Comfortable atmosphere with locals. The pricing was very good, food excellent. Our table had bang bang shrimp, crab stuffed scampi, smothered chicken, lobster tail and my fave was the frog legs. Of the many places that I've had frog legs in northwest Ohio, these were the best.

A quiet little place we stopped for lunch. Food was great. We could talk while we ate without yelling. The portions were good sized.

I honestly don't know how your restaurant is still in operation. I got food poisoning from this place. Checked Google and found that this place has had multiple Food Safety Violations WTF!?

Been in PLX for decades and didn't eat at this place untill about 6 years ago. It looks dilapidated from the outside so I just didn't have must interest. When I finally did go... The inside is just as run down and old looking as the outside... Like 1980s old. I got a strip steak that was overpriced for the quality. It was tough and didn't have much flavor. I went a second time a few weeks ago as I was invited to an anniversary dinner. This time I tried the prime rib. It was better than the strip steak but overcooked and not very juicy.

I'm thinking they use USDA choice instead of USDA prime. In which case they should cut their prices in half.

We had take out as we were staying in an VRBO nearby. I was not a fan of the food at all. The sauce used on the Chicken Parm and in the Italian sampler is that basic canned sauce from Sysco or something similar. The salad was ruined with pickled beets thrown on top and the beet juice saturated the croutons. I should have ordered the meatloaf. Maybe that would have been better. We ended up throwing most of the food away. Very disappointing.
