Ordered takeaway last Saturday afternoon. I had ordered Murgh Tikka as an appetizer, which is normally a dry grilled starter, but what we received was a very small portion with tiny chicken pieces in a tomato-based gravy, which was disappointing.

The restaurant replaced it with Samosa Chaat, but unfortunately the samosas were burnt and the chole tasted bland.

The only positive was the Chicken Biryani, which was good. Overall, the experience with the appetizers was quite disappointing.

We decided to dine here as a last minute decision, and it was a good one! There are not many southern Indian spots to eat in Akron, and Saffron Patch may be the reason. It attracted many local diners with a shared love for the cuisine, and the wide menu allows you to find the dish just right for you. Highly recommend getting naan on the side to accompany your main dish!

We had a great experience here. I had been looking for an Indian buffet in the area for a while and was happy to find this place. They offered about ten different dishes, three desserts, and a salad option—all at a very reasonable price.
If you enjoy Indian food but can’t handle very spicy dishes, this buffet is a great choice. The spice level was mild, and if you prefer it hotter, you can ask for their hot sauce and adjust the heat to your liking.
What really made our visit special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made sure everything was fresh and regularly checked to see if we needed anything. Their warm attitude and friendly service created such a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. You can really tell they care about their customers.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back again.

Lunch buffet with vegetarian options, includes lassi, naan and a sweet dessert that was not my favorite, but the other items were delicious
