Fresh everything. They make their own cheeses and Jerky with a lot of diff flavors to choose from. They are delicious. Baked goods galore, pies, cookies, cakes. Deli section has some of the best lunch meats around. So many different versions of Macaroni and Potato salad, each one delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Shaffer's was as usual, awesome! I had been trying to find some fresh dill for turning my many, so many cucumbers into pickles since my dill crop failed this year. I traveled the last 2 days hunting without success at 10 different farms, groceries and bulk foods stores to find out nobody's crops produced this year. And today after church, I stopped for my weekly fresh foods at Shaffer's. They had 4 large bags so I only bought 2, leaving the other ones for another...
There are a million lovely things to say about this place. Ill just start with... THE CINNAMON ROLLS will put you in an early grave and it will be worth it. *take a bite* SOOOO good.
