I wish I could give this place 10 stars. We held a special event here for my step-father's celebration of life, and the owners and the staff were incredible. They accommodated us, took care of our guests and helped us create the perfect ambience for our event. I only wish I lived closer, so I could frequent this adorable neighborhood tavern, tucked back from busy West Market Street. South Point is such a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Every time I swing by, I am treated to one of the best cocktails I've had in Akron along with superior service from a very helpful and friendly staff. You could get lost in the number of options they have available - I think they have a half dozen different types of Old Fashioned, alone - but the bartenders are so helpful and accommodating, willing to talk thru what you like and don't like to find the best option...
