Chicken and hush puppies were burnt. I ordered our food for dine in and it was all in Togo boxes, the bartender was rude when I reminded her it was for dine in, left the bag and never returned. When I went to say something about our food, she was to busy talking to her regulars, rather then making sure we were ok and content.

First time eating here and our po boys was not good. The meat was falling apart I’m thinking it’s made of chorizo and it burnt our stomachs up. The onion rings were over cooked. And what makes is worst was we was hungry. Thank you to empty nothings smh just horrible, salty, and it’s a no for us. And he said the food came from Louisiana. If it came from Louisiana, we don’t want no parts. Soon as we got home I’m on the toilet and my husband farting all over the house… Ain’t no way. Felt like we was eating potted meat. Like canned meat. The people was cool though!!! ?

The food was good. I got 2pcs of fish and a small jambalaya. The jambalaya tasted plain. Could have used more flavor. The fish however was on point. I have an overall 3/5 stars because the service when I arrived could have been quicker (keep your head on a swivel) and the jambalaya could have had more flavor. I did not rate the atmosphere because I just picked up. Could use a better store front sign to make it more visible when driving by.Parking: Street parking.

This place is a hidden gem for me ?❤️? I live in Akron but don’t eat out here but This place changes my mind they deliver with great food and service every time ? I’ve been here about 3 times and every experience is better when I go!!!! They catfish is mf mind blowing for me cause I do care for catfish but the way they season and fry theirs is beyond good!!!!! I tried their who dat pasta this time and for me it could use a little more salt or seasoning it was still very good!!!!! Definitely recommend if your in the area and looking for a good bite to eat

Was soo excited to find a new coul food place near me with some cajun. The food was a little dry for instance the mac n cheese didnt really have cheese and mayb 2 pieces of crawfish. The jambalaya was just dry rice with little pieces of sausage . My gf got a fried shrimp sandwich that was better, i stole some of her ingredients to put in mine... but id give it another chance... since covid hit it seems like everywhere isnt the same and dont judge a place one one experiece. I will go back and update when i do.

I contacted owner Will as I was hosting an event to ask besides the tray of fish I normally get did he cater other items, he then stated I cater whatever and I said great, I needed ROASTED white and dark quarter chicken for a clam bake event. Agreed to amount and pick up time, and paid. Picked up food on event day. My husband picked up my several items yet items not ready when he got there but no biggy. My husband notice the kitchen staff was dropping chicken in a deep fryer and called me. He asked wasn’t the chicken suppose to be roasted chicken I said yes. I had no choice but to take it as it was day of event. I immediately called owner as well as the staff tried to call him. I got no reply, also text with same result. Get the food home, meat not at all appealing and little to no seasoning and deep fried no batter. I had to serve as guest arrived, after some plates served I was told the chicken was not fully cooked, I was so embarrassed I had to asked that they please don’t eat. How disappointing, owner never responded and never tried to make it right till this day!! I try to support our people but the lack of customer care is unreal and unprofessional.

I finally took the risk of ordering or door dash, and they even took it into consideration and packed everything to make it stayed as hot as possible. I will continue to order from here and they've never let me down. Jambalaya is *incredible* A side of shrimp is huge and so perfectly breaded. You won't be disappointed.

You would miss this place if you're not looking. The menu has a New Orleans vibe and it seems everything has got that certain twist that elevates the dish. The person who took our order was so patient in explaining the different dishes.

Found this place via TikTok, was kinda bummed the New Orleans burger was off the menu for the night, HOWEVER the Shrimp Po Boy did not disappoint! So freak’n good ?I had hush puppies which were equal to, if not better, than ones I had down south earlier this month.Excited to go back and try the burger, and more!Delicious ?Like that the bar is separate than dining, can order drinks thru a window in the restaurant kept it separate but accessible ?
