Food is always very good. That's why I pay a little bit more for a franchisee owned meal. That being said this location, compared to Howe avenue, is always out of something, or getting the orders slightly wrong.

Woman at the drive through misinterpreted what I asked for so instead charged me twice for one meal and was snobby… definitely don’t recommend….

I am curious if the staff here are paid as servers or if they all make minimum wage? Why are we asking for 15 - 18 percent tip if I have to get my food and clean up my table and get my own refills?

One of the best Steak and Shake locations. You can tell it is under new management, which is amazing and now the milkshakes are always filled right to the top and not only half way like they used to be.

Came in for a late dinner. No one in sight when entering or while ordering at the terminal. Only interaction was when the young lady called our name. Burgers were ok until they weren't. When part of the lettuce fell out and was black. Not sure what we had been eating. But we didn't continued. No one ever came back to the table

Look, it's not a fine dining experience. But they are trying, and they are improving, and it's better than it was immediately post-COVID. The whole restaurant could still use a thorough deep cleaning (remodeling?), and the prices aren't as dirt-cheap as they used to be. But the food is still good, and the service is vastly better than previous experiences here. Ordering is through a kiosk, which is probably more efficient for the kitchen. Food was prepared quickly, and it was fresh. Hopefully they continue to improve because it seems like they are heading in the right direction again.
