Laloma is local authentic Mexican food ! Good reputation however I was truly disappointed at our visit today . We were a group of 5 sat in back of restaurant. Flys and gnats were all over the wall and wouldn’t stop flying over us . Food came out quick and hot . And the first couple of bites were great . However the gnats got all over my food within the first 2 min my food was on the table . Unfortunately the flys and gnats made me and my family immediately loose our appetite as they were all over my food and there were so many I couldn’t even keep them away . Before I made it to my car I was throwing up everywhere . Super disappointed.
I understand the heat of the day and certain circumstances but it was just horrible . The food is usually great and service is awesome as well . I would recommend cleaning the seating area better or maybe getting a pest service . Unfortunately this experienced has ruined the chances of going back there to eat .

First time at Taqueria La Loma. Started off with a golden strawberry margarita on the rocks. My son got an ice cold Coca-Cola bottle. Then I ordered a white cheese dip to go along with the salsa. My son ordered two cecina tacos plain, and I ordered the wet burrito with pastor. This was the best Mexican I've eaten in Akron. I will definitely will go back and try something else on the menu.

This was such a great choice. The service was great, and the food was so delicious. The free chips were nice and toasty when we got them. We received our food within 5 minutes of ordering it. I highly recommend the Mango Margarita, which is offered in many shareable sizes.

Always great food and very respectful workers! Always so nice and pleasant and clean restaurant. We got the torta cubana which was huge that they had to put it into two Togo boxes and also Gordo burrito which I chooses lengua meat ! Delicious

This is not a diverse place it was onward from the moment we walked my daughter is a very decent driver I’dont doubt she made some mistakes but things were exaggerated to prevent her from passing the lady lied and said she rolled through stop sign not true

If you want authentic Mexican Cuisine, this is the place! The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the environment is welcoming. Whether I am looking to cook at home or enjoy food that takes me back to my days living in Southern California along the border, the attached grocery and bakery has everything I need to make my favorite Mexican dishes at home. The chorizo from the deli is my favorite. I won’t buy it from any other store. I highly recommend La Loma!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants ive been to. They have such a selection of food. From seafood, raw oysters, shrimp,crab, steak and chicken. I had the steak ranchero and the steak was absolutely huge. It was cooked perfect and had the best flavor. I had trea Leche cake that was absolutely amazing. The tree Leche was made perfect and was delicious. Our whole table was satisfied with every meal that was ordered. This was my second time eating here and I can't wait to go back. The staff was very friendly, helpful and very professional. They have a great drink option if youre looking for a cocktail. Thanks to our waiter who did an excellent job. Looking forward to my next visit, thinking about getting the oysters. This place stay pretty busy and is very popular so if there is a problem finding parking I having to wait for a table ot is definitely worth the wait.
