We came in Friday with no reservations. There was an table available and we were immediately sat. I had the lemon drop martini and my husband a vodka soda. Both were excellent. For dinner I had the dip and my husband the steak. Both were great, cooked to the desired temperature and very well seasoned. Our server was Jessica and she was pleasant and attentive. This place is fairly new and obviously working through some kinks in the operation. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed my meal and drinks. They mistakenly forgot to put my chicken on the ravioli but were apologetic and comped the meal. The old one room school house is a great setting, it was just stuffy.
I liked the place, did not love it. The setting is cool and historic. It is a bit loud. For the evening, the lighting was too bright, and they flickered a bit throughout the night. I think the bulbs in the chandeliers are not dimmable bulbs – could be the problem. Our server was good. My party liked him. Drinks were good. One problem is that they charge $18 for a dirty martini.
