I hardly ever leave bad reviews. Unfortunately, I had horrific food poisoning after my meal here. My stomach can handle a lot and I don’t usually get sick, but this meal has had me in bed everyday since being sick for an entire day after my meal here. I’m not sure if it was the eggs or the hash browns, maybe it was the meat, but unfortunately something wasn’t right with it and I am in a lot of pain.

If I could Leave 0 stars I would! Servers were buzzed slightly drunk and my grits were pink 🙃there’s nothing in the kitchen that could cause pink chunks in my grits. The food seemed as if it was made in advance and they kinda warmed it up a little bit. Waiting around for service when the restaurant only had two other people in there was insane. Employees cared more about after work plans than getting things done we started to get up and leave but decided to be kind and atleast pay for our breakfast

Always a pleasant dining experience, with good diner food at reasonable prices. Friendly service. Breakfast served 24 hours. Try the loaded chili-cheese fries. Been a late-night comfort food for me, for years.

I didn't complain while I was there. Maybe because I dont wanna be or sound like a Karen? I most definitely will not be returning. Who ever was the cook today, horrible. Who ever it was clearly doesnt like cooking. You can tell when someone puts their foot in cooking. Because EVERYTHING on the plate will be amazing. Starting with over cooked burger Under cooked Hash browns no flavor barely any crunch, soggy waffles, flat over cooked scrambled cheese eggs with a whole slice of pepper jack cheese just slapped on top that had no hot cheese pull it looked like it sat too long (the slice of cheese was 1$), fatty unevenly cooked bacon. Over cooked chicken strips. $60 later (for 3 ppl) We left unsatisfied leaving our 2 go container as well because it wasnt even good enough to go back and get it. I used to frequent this place years ago and its nowhere near what it was. Just a waist of money and time. The waiter is the only reason I gave any stars. She was super attentive and its not her fault the food was horrible.

We go here at least once or twice a month, but after today's service I won't be going back. We sat there for more than 5 minutes while the waitresses sat up at the counter talking to their friends. I had to ask for menus and then another 10 to 15 minutes for them to come and take the order. They sat up there flirting and then talking inappropriately. They talked poorly about all the customers that walked out. The owner must not have been there because it was a free for all. So sad because I really do like the place but they just lost customers.

A true hidden gem. I passed by for a couple of years. And was finally told to try them out. And was amazed by this place. They make a great burger. Don't miss their fish and chips.

I was reading an article on Ohio diners on Facebook. This restaurant was mentioned and received good reviews. It's about an hour southeast of home in Akron. I had to come down here today to meet someone who is selling some men's clothing dirt, cheap, so I figured I had to stop in.
One could easily look at this eatery and drive on by. The real treat is when you walk inside and you are greeted by a 1950's retro look. These are my favorite kind of diners, unless of course, it's an old Skyline diner that's been updated.
I was immediately greeted when I walked through the door. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was basic diner stuff, but the menu had a great selection of breakfast entrees, sandwiches and dinners.
The restaurant is known for its He-Man breakfast and Big Bold Burgers. The Big Bold Burgers come with two patties and you can order them a bunch of different ways. According to the staff, the He-Man is their biggest seller. There is no way I would be able to finish it in one sitting.
I wimped out and chose the chopped steak dinner. It was a real beef patty, not something that was cholked with fillers, like some other diners tend to do. It was covered with mushroom gravy, which was a nice touch.
When I stop at a diner, I like to try the chili. For me it's the true test of a restaurant. It was homemade and flavorful, had a great meat to bean ratio, had just enough heat with a hint of sweetness. It was perfect!
The outdoor seating area was closed due to the cold weather. Staff said that when it's open, it's usually packed.
If you happen to be in the Akron area and would love to grab a nice meal on a cool little diner, I suggest you forego all the chain restaurants and give this one some love. They're open 24/7. Don't forget to check out the specials that are posted on their front window.
Next time I'm down here, I will be back.
