A great place to hang out, meet new friends , get really great drinks from awesome bartenders and see some excellent up and coming acts on a great sound system paired with a great sound guy.. you cant beat that! looking forward to many more shows at the vortex concert club!

Pretty cool club tucked off of the main drag (maybe it's biggest flaw?) with great sound on and off stage! Drinks were fair priced but just ok. Wish more people would attend the events here but besides that it's pretty cool.

Wish I could review the venue itself, but I asked when a show was first advertised as a comment on Facebook if it was all ages and didn't get a response. Okay, maybe they were busy and missed the comment, it happens. Messaged the venue on Facebook at 8am the day of the show that starts at 7pm. The venue has made multiple posts since then, but never replied to my message. In the meantime, I contacted one of the bands themselves who was unable to answer my question but replied within 5 mins and gave me an email address to contact the venue at. I emailed them a little after 10am. Still no response there either. Called the venue (they were closed so I didn't expect anybody to answer) and got their answering machine. I left my name and phone number and my question and asked for a return call, so if I was busy, they could just leave me a voicemail with the response. Never recieved a call back. It's now 45 mins after doors opening, and I've still not heard anything from the venue, which is 43 minutes from my house. So now even if they did respond, there's no way I'm driving out to the show. There are a lot of nice venues that I love and have gone to for years (Musica, the Outpost, West Side Bowl and the Grog Shop to name a few). Next time, I'll look into the shows they have instead.

Went to a show last Thursday, December 14th and it was great! All circles media planned the event with Master Puff and 3g Internet and a few other opening acts and it was so fun and the range of talent was very eclectic and high energy! The staff working the door and bar were so friendly. I went there with my 19 year old son and we both enjoyed the atmosphere and show!
