This place always allows vendors and artists to do their thing and is honestly a cornerstone for the music & art community. Without places like this artists wouldn't have a platform and I truly appreciate it. Not the fanciest spot but the people are real and the shows usually go off!

Fun times as usual. This place is always a blast to go see a show and the bar is pretty fast to sling drinks. The sound is always stellar and they usually have some top tier entertainment. I highly recommend going to see a show here

Went and seen my homie Insane E last night here at the Vortex. I like the venue. Enough space to have a good time, for sure. More of an intimate experience I would have to say, and I am happy I was able to go and enjoy
Absolutely phenomenal staff and great prices. But holy crackers the DJ they brought in was the worst I've ever heard in my entire life. I hope he personally sees this, because he needs to reevaluate his profession. Respectfully.

Petty cool place to play music. But the dri ks were a little pricey and not consistent. I had the skittles drink and each time it looked and tasted different. And hell i had a labat blue and it was 5 bucks for a bottle. Seems a little much. But atmosphere was sweet and the sound system was killer. Kind of a weird setup as far as going from building ti building but it was alright.

I am very disturbed with the staff and the legitimacy of this business June 7th was deathfest they were hosting a death metal concert all day there. My daughter had went to her mother's for his visitation And she decided to take my 6-year-old little girl to death fest. Which I find really disturbing considering my daughter and said there was no other children there and that they allowed her in the facility in the bar area and in the smoking pit and in the venue where The bands were performing inside along with around the mosh pit. There is also xtc located within the same building as the vortex they have porn booths where people go to do x rated things. They are both connected by a door where people can leave the venue and go over into the sex store. I had made a comment on their page that I was very disturbed about the ordeal and they decided to delete my comment and block my Facebook profile. This is unacceptable and the place screams drugs and pedophilia not a place to take a 6-year-old little girl. This place needs shut down and they will be held accountable for allowing a 6-year-old child inside. Very very VERY unprofessional place my daughter told me she was very scared and uncomfortable she asked to leave and her mother made her stay. I am getting in contact with the authorities over the your deal and the commerce for Ohio. This place needs investigated as well as shut down.
