Atmosphere was good. Service was not so good. What i ordered is not what i got. Food was not representative of mexican food. It was another culture. Ive notoced a trend in ohio. Claiming to be mexican food and its not. High recommened. High dissapointed.

First time I came here I bought online and when I arrived someone else had picked up my order. No big deal if the server was more accommodating, but instead, he kind of shrugged and was expecting me to leave without food. That wasn’t going to happen and eventually they remade the order. Fast forward about a month and a half. We came out to celebrate with my fiancé and friends. Service was deliberately slow, many times my server acknowledged that we were ready to order and deliberately went to the back to hang out at the bar. We ordered the frozen margarita and it came out iced, so we asked them to blend it the way we ordered it. It took a little over an hour to actually get food. A little later my fiancés stomach hurt and she felt like vomiting. She didn’t end up puking, but 40 mins later I started vomiting. I’ve been puking all night. Skip this place.

We happened upon this by accident, meant to go to Uncle Tito’s. Decided to stay, it was quiet and not busy. My husband is not a big fan of Mexican food, but really loved his tacos! I judge every Mexican restaurant by the two items I usually order, chile rellenos and a beef enchilada, both were very good. I did ask for tortillas, usually it comes with, and couldn’t finish so I wrapped one in foil. Didn’t realize while chatting that it was thrown away. The waiter apologized and quickly replaced with a whole new chile relleno and tortillas, very kind and a nice gesture. My only issue, and it’s often with Mexican, is why can’t margaritas be fresh? It is so simple to make a true margarita, but the house marg was highly flavored with artificial lime. Furthermore, I went to the bathroom and there were many buckets of what appeared to be cleaning solution piled up, and next to them were jugs of lime green industrial margarita mix that almost looked toxic, lol. This was why the funny taste. Next time I’ll just have to order the margarita differently. But, aside from that the food was very good, the chips were big and delicious and we like a spicy salsa, which it was.

Literally the only thing I ate today was Titos mexican.. in Manchester rd plaza.. laid down and just woke up throwing all that crap up.. ugh! Avoid that place smmfh...

Never again! First and last time! $14.72 for those little tacos! Dry! I should’ve went to my normal spot on the north side.

This place was amazing!!!!! We love our Mexican night out and let’s not forget our margaritas. I order street tacos everywhere I go and this place hit it so far away from most places. We will now make this our go to for our Mexican place to eat it was that good 😊 . Even my husband was amazed 😁🥰

I felt like the staff was being intentionally difficult to understand to trick you into ordering things you didn't want and I have never seen a Mexican restaurant that did not offer a Guadalajara special combo dinner and would also swear I had ordered one there before but not this time as it couldn't be found on the menu. I settled for Chimichangas and was gravely disappointed with the portions as they were the tiniest chimichangas I have ever seen and especially in relation to price .

I think the biggest mistake I had made this evening was assuming it was associated with UNCLE TITO's which is much MUCH better and had never left an Uncle Titos disappointed.
I really wish that were the case this evening but alas, it wasn't.

I will absolutely not under any circumstances be repeating this mistake.

I’ve been working occasionally in the portage lakes area for 4 years and they have never disappointed. It’s my go-to place now. I’ve ordered it 3 times in 8 days! Delicious. Great portions. FLAVOR is perfection. I can’t wait to order again 🩷
