I had a really good time looking at your profile pictures and information about what’s going on there!! “My wife and I made a random stop while on a road trip and stumbled onto one of our favorite places in the country. The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. The entertainment was amazing. Everything we ordered tasted fantastic, the honey horseradish sauce is the best thing I’ve ever tasted. I definitely know where we will be stopping whenever driving through Ohio. We can’t wait to be back.“

“I spent a night going around to all the bars around uptown Athens and found that The Union is where all the queers and indie folks hang out (which is exactly my kind of place). Also, their bathroom has fancy toilet paper, like charmin or somethings. Love this place. Also the bartender rendell is very kind.“

“My wife went to school at Ohio University... and we were in town with 5 other friends for four days enjoying the local roads (on our motorcycles) and enjoying the town every afternoon and evening.

A very welcoming local bar with great bartenders and great drink choices at great prices. We visited several times over the four days we were there.

“The Crystal was a good bar to hang out in. They let you bring food in which is a big plus. We found a little loaf area where there was enough seating for a big group of people. There was Foosball and pool and some other games around. Crowded but not packed like the bar next door.“
