A hidden gem. Came because my husband went to school here as a kid and today is his birthday. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, very crispy, very delicious. I also had a piece of lemon cream pie which was homemade and lemony and totally delicious. Husband had the turkey club and fries, huge sandwich, delicious as well. Service was winderful, friendly, everything you want in a good server. We will definitely be coming back.

I ordered their “1/3 lb cheeseburger” and some waffle fries. I’m certainly not any kind of food connoisseur but I know what a 1/3 lb burger should look like and this isn’t it! This burger looks like the same size as a White Castle burger (see attached picture). I also had to pay extra for tomato, which was fine, but they literally gave me ONE small slice of tomato. Wyatt was our server and he was great.

Cool hometown restaurant located inside of an old school building. Tasty home cooking with attentive service. Tried the chicken and noodles with potatoes and a biscuit. Husband had eggs, etc. Generous portions. Will definitely visit again when passing through.

Our breakfast was lukewarm at most. Maybe they need a heating lamp while things cook. Not fault to the servers though. They were very accommodating. One point to be made is that my wife found a small piece of plastic in her omelet. We didn't say anything but we left. We won't be back. There's no excuse for that.
Awesome cafe with amazing food at great prices. This little restaurant is well known to locals and is set in an old elementary school cafeteria. Such a unique and fun atmosphere.Service is great and the people friendly.

Albany Cafe is a hidden gem. Interesting place. Located in an old elementary school. Basically you're eating in the cafeteria. The menu has salads and sandwiches among other things. Basic stuff here. It has typical stuff like sandwiches. The cuisine isn't unique. However the setting of this is. This was an old elementary school. All the walls are still covered with things like maps. The menu has average stuff. I had a vegetable sub for lunch. It's about $9 and comes with a salad. This wasn't anything special but it was okay and pretty big sized. It has stuff for breakfast. Most people come here then but also come at lunch. This is cool especially if you're into old schools and things.

Used to be great, but we waited for over an hour for diner food, no updates from the waitstaff, we were the only table there, few takeout orders Hotdog, smothered hash browns, hamburgers, chicken parm sandwhich, hot ham and cheese. Left after and hour and fifteen minutes of waiting. Was clean, but not feasible to wait for an hour and a half or more with a toddler for what used to be a fast meal.
