On 911/1023 @8:30 at night, my husband and I pulled into this truck stop in hopes that Popeyes was still open. They were, but they were closing in 30 minutes. Best turnpike food I've ever had! Fiance and I are back and forth on the I-80 weekly and this was the best meal we've ever had on it. Hot, fresh, tastier then most "fancy" chicken places! Got the tenders, Cajun fries, and biscuit. Everything was piping hot and perfectly cooked! Will make sure to stop on the next trip.
Just made it before 9pm closing and was able to get my dinner. Already tried a Toledo location earlier with an epic fail.Was very happy to still be able to get my order filled even though right up against the deadline. Delicious spicy tenders, biscuit with mashed potatoes Tried the recommended blackened ranch sauce and loved it. Thank you again!
