20250712 The employees here need to be replaced with employees that move in normal or faster pace, and can multiple task! They were soooo slow, and the line was getting longer and longer. Eventually, the older white woman decided to help take orders, but she was also very slooooooow. When the 2 employees were talking about something, both their hands stopped working while their mouths were running. They both could have continued to fill the boxes with chicken while they talk....
On 911/1023 @8:30 at night, my husband and I pulled into this truck stop in hopes that Popeyes was still open. They were, but they were closing in 30 minutes. Best turnpike food I've ever had! Fiance and I are back and forth on the I-80 weekly and this was the best meal we've ever had on it. Hot, fresh, tastier then most "fancy" chicken places! Got the tenders, Cajun fries, and biscuit. Everything was piping hot and perfectly cooked! Will make sure to stop on the next trip.
