Great service! Great coffee!!!
I'm sorry to say since the new owners took over couple months ago it just isn't the same. I've been in about 5 times since the change, each time hoping it's going to get better. it's just not great, slow service, no decaf coffee last couple times & ask if they can make some you'd think I'm asking for $$thousand dollars. I loved this little spot, but unfortunately I probably won't go back. Sad really because I always try to support local. 😪
My son and I come almost every Friday after we hit the Amherst Public Library (which we also highly recommend). We LOVE it. The baristas are so sweet and remember my son and what he gets. The drinks and food are great. Creative and delicious coffee and non-coffee drinks. And the atmosphere/aesthetic!! I cannot say enough about how adorable and cozy this coffee shop is. Based on the reviews, Commando Coffee Co. is an establishment with amazing food, amazing coffee, and amazing customer service. The coffee, made with The General's freshly grounded coffee beans, is delicious, and the snacks are good too. The restaurant recently rebranded and updated its location, making everything feel more cozy and beautiful. A customer ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, but it was served on sour dough or rye instead of a bagel and tasted like nothing but salt. Despite this, the service was excellent. One customer’s food was accidentally skipped due to volume, but the amazing atmosphere and a free coffee made up for the wait. A visitor from out of town enjoyed a classic iced oat latte made by a friendly barista. The staff is very nice, and the place is a beautiful establishment.
