If you have ever had real pizza before. Or even average pizza then dont go anywhere near here. I will neverstand how pizza places cant lwarn how to make real food. I assume its due to frozen preordered dough but i digress. The only thing worse then the pizza is the thing they call calzones.

The employees are very short and rude, it was my first time there and I was very displeased. The calzone I ordered was ok and the chef salad was decent sized and edible. Will not be returning there. If you're looking for pizza in Ashland I recommend skipping this place!

I have traveled quite a bit, lived in three states, and eaten pizza in 19 states and two countries. I keep coming back to DorLo.

Their gyros are good, though they call them gyro subs, I wish it had fries with it instead of chips but otherwise it's great.

UPDATE: Sadly it isn't the same anymore. Ever since COVID they just can't seem to get their act together. They are not reliably open. And they constantly complain online about shortage of staff and now inflation and their political beliefs. Other restaurants and pizza places have been able to bounce and do well without all of the complaining and after a while one has to instead maybe think about looking at themselves in the mirror. Why can't they keep employees? Why do they think that people tend forget about them with their out of the way location? It's all rather off putting. It's as if this place is ran by a bunch of emotional teens playing on social media. Oh well, it is a shame. But plenty of other options in the area including a new best one downtown. They can stay in their quiet part of town and keep complaining instead of doing anything about it.Previous review: The best pizza and cheese bread sticks! The people are super sweet and you cannot beat the price! I would compare the pizza to California Pizza Kitchen, just better and for the fraction of the cost (usually around $20-25 for a family of 4) Dorlos has become our family favorite!
