Food Luke warm, potato soup was not cooked, banana nut bread had bitter nut taste. Waitress was nice, the restaurant decor is dirty and outdated with loud kitchen staff voices being heard in the dining area.

Nice breakfast selection for vegans. Great cup of coffee and very attentive servers. A lot of food for your money.

Waitress never came back after dropping off our food. No drink refills no To go boxes no checks no dessert. We had to ask for to go boxes and checks from hostess. Very very poor service. We were a group of 6 adults.

Wheelchair accessibility: No room really for wheelchairs.

Went here for dinner and the hostess was nice and was seated right away but all went downhill from there sat for a long while with no drinks and never had a server come to us at all so after sitting at the table with nothing and no server for quite a long while we got up and left with nobody even saying anything to us at all...

We ordered our food 2 other tables came in after us; one with 2 people, one with three. The two tables received food before we did, we left. We did tell our server we were leaving. If there was a delay in the preparation of our food, she should inform us there will be a delay. Very disappointe

About two weeks ago we placed an online order. We order 2 burgers with 2 sides each. It was delivered with both of the sides missing from one burger and one side missing from the other burger and the side that we did receive leaked all over everything else penetrating into the other containers ruining the other foods. I called in and was told that they could refund me but I could not replace the order due to their kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. Ok fine. I asked if they could remake the order I could come pick it up. They said that we could do that. I got there and the order still wasn’t ready. I waited….. and then when they brought it out they forgot the gravy for the mashed potatoes and the Mac and cheese for the other order, and they also forgot to load the loaded fries. The lady fixed everything. But if I hadn’t checked I would have gotten home and been in a similar situation. Now skip forward two weeks we figured we stop in and sit down in person thinking that our online order was just because they were closing and in a rush. NOPE. We waited 10 minutes at the door with 4 other couples to be seated.( the lady check other guest out never acknowledged any of us. Very warm and welcoming) When someone appeared they sat everyone. The table we were sat at was soaking wet. As I’m sitting there fanning the table with our menus a lady walks up talking on her phone holding a bin of silverware and drops silverware on the table I’m actually fanning without smiling or acknowledging us in anyway. We sat there looking at there menu for probably 15 ish minutes ( we don’t go out to eat often and it’s been a couple of years since we have been inside a bob Evans ) a server never greeted us, never took our drink order. After another 10 minutes of waiting for some kind of service we just said screw it walked out. We drove 30 seconds down the road to Applebees and were sat and had drinks and an appetizer in front of us in less time then what we spent at bob Evan’s after being seated.

On September 3rd 2024 I did a $40 carryout order. When I got home the biscuits and gravy I ordered were missing and the beef gravy and mashed potatoes in my beef tips had cheese on them instead of gravy and lastly the Wildfire salad was nothing like they normally are. When I called Bob Evans in Ashtabula back the lady who answered the phone was very Unapologetic just oh well you can come back and get your biscuits and gravy which I informed her I lived 20 mi away and if I could just get my money refunded back onto my debit card which after she spoke with her manager they said they would remove it from my card that has never happened so I paid for food I never received. It was just treated like it was no big deal that my whole order was so messed up. So they may have made money off of me by not supplying everything I ordered however I will never go back to the Ashtabula Bob Evans the service with the who cares attitude did not set well with me because this is not how to run a successful business.

High lights were the biscuits and banana bread. The mains were awful. The vegetables were greatly over cooked, for example the green beans were mush, the broccoli also. I'm avoiding Bob Evans now. Sorry as I had high hopes for it as my first visit.

EVERYTHING IS OR SEEMS BEST AS CAN BE. COULD OFFER REGULAR SALADS WITHOUT FRUITS OR NUTS BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE ORDERED A FRUIT SALAD. THE PRICES ARE STILL PRICEY FOR THE AMOUNT OFFERED, ESPECIALLY BEVERAGE PRICES. OTHERWISE KEEP ON SMILING AND MAKE HAPPY CUSTOMERS.
