“We had an extraordinary experience at this restaurant. Located in downtown Astabula, OH this restaurant offered EXTRAORDINARY culinary options which are amazing. I had the mussels and the pork chop. The mussels were the best I have ever had. We also had a fabulous beet salad and a great bolognese pasta dish. Jamie the bartender made the night for us!”

“My first time here was tonight. I got a Gyro combo. So I did not get to eat my food for 45 mins, (driving to our destination and then waited about 20 mins to eat.) but the fries were still crispy and delicious! The gyro….absolutely incredible. The flavors are out of this world. Will be returning because I’d like to try more menu items!!”

“We had a group of 7 on a holiday weekend and were very impressed with their ability to seat us right away. There is tons of outdoor seating with the tables being far enough away from each other that you don’t feel like you are invading someone else’s dinner. The food was good and the service was excellent. The view from the patio was very nice. I would highly recommend!”

“Our favorite restaurant to go to on special occasions like our anniversary .. I highly recommend this place.. the burrata app was so good and so were our entree .. I had the linguine mare which I substituted a cream sauce which was delicious and my husband had the chicken Roberta which was delicious too .. also got the pistachio ricotta cake too!! Our waiter Giuseppe was awesome as well!!!”

“I have passed this place numerous times many many times every time I would go by. It was always closed till I found out their hours, which are great hours 6 a.m. to 3 PM seven days a week the first time I went there I had breakfast. The second time I went. I had breakfast today was the third time I’ve been there. I tried something different for lunch phenomenon food phenomenal staff restaurant is very clean tidy the pies are phenomenal. I would recommend this family owned restaurant to anybody in the area or anybody passing through the pancakes were phenomenal. They tasted like pancakes not something out of the freezer not something that came out of a big box and tasted like the box they came in.”

“This place is a great stop for the Ashtabula harbor visitors. It's unique and always friendly. It's an actual fishing boat that has been converted to a bar, has a food truck on site that serves multiple options that are very good. There's seating at the rear of the boat for large parties, they always have sports on the TV and it's a great place to enjoy the harbor at water level.”

“We have been eating at Los Compadres for many years. We both enjoy the variety of meals and drinks that are available. The service is outstanding from the time you step in the door until you have completed you meal. If you have a large party, you need to let them know because they work really hard to make sure everyone, not just the celebrating party, are served the meals quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Tried fire chicken for the 1st time yesterday for our 'boys' 20th birthday! Was not disappointed!! Food was absolutely delicious, huge portions for great prices, wonderful staff (even blasted Happy birthday & sang to him) I highly recommend Fire Chicken! We will definitely be back!!”

“We had an incredible experience with Kelly and Guyreino’s Deli for our last-minute sandwich request for a wedding party. They came through with an amazing assortment of 5” round cold cut and veggie sandwiches that exceeded all our expectations. The bread was freshly baked, and the variety of fillings was perfect. “This place is totally amazing. !!! Drove up from Marion Ohio just to check out wineries and picked this one for the "Goddess" name. (Cause we are five Goddesses you know) The atmosphere is historic and the signs are so cool to read and enjoy. The owners are so nice and helpful. Great place to celebrate a 30th birthday. Wine samples are a great way to decide on which amazing wines to settle on for the night. This is a perfect neighborhood watering establishment and I highly recommend The Goddess as a great experience for anyone with a desire for a Cheers atmosphere. We will return soon. My 3 toddlers and I ate in the resturant and the staff treated us with such kindness and were very gracious with us when we had a big accidental spill. Jennifer took our order and was very patient and kind with us. As a young mom, the kindness I received from the workers meant so much. And the food was amazing and quick!”

Very sweet man who is incredibly kind and caring. Always giving back to the local communities. The food was absolutely delicious. Great portions for the pricing as well. If I lived in town, I would be here all the time. We will definitely be back the next time we visit.”

“I just tried this place today and it is PHENOMENAL! The staff was very kind and explained the menu to me since my Español is lacking!🤣 I had the pizza which was great, so much cheese and we LOVE cheese! also had the pastrami sandwich, its such a big sandwich and SOOO DELICIOUS! Last week had the chicken chichirones( I know I spelled that wrong) and they were FANTASTIC, the sauce they come with is so good! highly recommend and we will be back!”

“Have been here twice in the last week and we have had such an amazing experience. We came for breakfast one day and dinner another. Not disappointed! “The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.”

The fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the cheese steak was loaded with steak, onions and cheese served fresh and hot. We would stop there again soon. There was a wide variety of menu choices including grab and go foods, including desserts. They had a outdoor covered patio with tables to set. We had a nice breeze coming from off Lake Erie.”

“I came here about couple days ago to meet up with a few friends. Our server was Jami and she was absolutely excellent! I ended up having a chicken salad, which ended up being phenomenal! We didn't have much of a wait, but we all decided to wait for each other to arrive before sitting at a table. As soon as we sat down, we were immediately greeted by our server and asked what we wanted for our drinks.

Our server seemed to have everything in order and we haven't had service like this in a while. We have been hesitant to even meet up anywhere for lunch lately, because most places seem to be hiring careless help. This was far from our experience. Our beverages were refilled before we even had to wait, and we were constantly asked if there was anything we needed.

I am not sure how the kitchen is behind the scenes, but the food was phenomenal, as well! It came out in a timely manner and was really good. It was organized well and everything seemed fresh.

The ladies and I will definitely be visiting again for a lunch out on the town!! Most likely requesting the same server.”
