My first at Bascule dinner was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece! I mean, if my taste buds could write a thank-you note, they’d be composing a novel right now. Each bite was a delightful journey, and I might have even considered proposing to the chefs just to get the mushroom reduction recipe. Wow, what a fantastic dinner for our anniversary. We had an asparagus tart for an appetizer that was great. Our waitress recommended the duck, which I had. It was incredible. My wife had the Artic char which tastes in between a trout and salmon. She loved it. I don't care for salmon but I tasted this char and would order it myself. The restaurant is small and quaint, perfect for a special dinner. Highly recommended. It is pricey but worth it.
