“The roasted pork egg rolls are crispy on the outside and rich on the inside. The tenderness of the pork blends perfectly with the aroma of the eggs, making every bite intoxicating. The portions in this store are generous and cost-effective. The lady boss is very nice and highly recommended!“
“I was traveling through Astrabula, Ohio when I spotted this awesome looking Chinese restaurant. I’m a sucker for an all you can eat buffet. So I had to find out & pulled in the parking lot. I was greeted by the hostess, who seated me then took my drink order. She asked if I was there for the lunch buffet, I told her yes, and she point towards the buffet area & said “enjoy”. I took notice that it was a very spacious restaurant. Your seating options will be tables or booths, I always go for the table. The buffet had everything you could want from a proper Chinese buffet. The buffet serving area was very clean, well stocked & hot. I sampled a little of everything, making multiple trips. Everyone who worked there was extremely friendly & polite. My drink was always topped off and any of my finished products plates were quickly collected from my table. I then took full advantage of the dessert area of the buffet, it had all of the classic desserts. I really enjoyed the dessert, perfect ending to my dining experience.I’m happy with hat I decided to stop and try this place out.If you like a good Chinese buffet, I strongly recommend you give this place a try.“
“It's really hard to find places with good vegetarian options in this area. The employee at the counter did a great job with recommendations and answering my questions (he even knew to ask if they should eliminate eggs from the fried rice). The food was fresh and fantastic - I actually could have used a smaller order. The menu isn't huge, which to me means that they focus on doing a great job with a few things! There was pretty steady traffic for takeout orders while I was there. The place doesn't have great visibility, but I don't know that they can do much to change that - the positioning in the plaza makes it difficult to see the sign from some angles. The restaurant (including the restroom) were clean and inviting. If you're in the area, give it a shot. I will definitely be back.“
“Wow! Service was not great. Timing was not great. The food made up for all of that! Crab Rangoon and Egg Rolls were unbelievable. General Tso dinner combo was great as well. All for a good price. Definitely recommend if you find yourself in that area!“
“Of all the Chinese restaurants in the Ashtabula area, Moy's is by far the best tasting and best value. The meat used in their dishes (beef and chicken are what I have tried) is of a high quality and the portions are large. They do not skimp on the inclusion of their meats, but instead provide a higher ratio than any local competitors. The meal sizes in general are large and will set you up with leftovers. A person can have a meal and plenty of leftovers for $10 to $15. Great value!Something to note for anyone ordering for the first time is that you need to order rice separately. I found this out the hard way on a previous visit and I wanted to share with everyone here. And if you enjoy a kick of spice, just ask and he will turn up the heat (the Hot Mongolian Beef dish one of my go-to options. The Kung Pao is also delicious with some extra heat). As of this posting, June 2023, the restaurant offers takeout but no dining-in service (I hope this changes). The manager / owner is a very friendly and extremely hard-working person, as he is doing it all from taking orders to cooking up delicious meals. The time from your call to order until the pickup time tends to be longer than other restaurants, but the weight is well worth it for the food. This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in the region and I recommend anybody who is addicted to delicious Chinese food as I am to give it a try. You won't regret it and you will have enough food for multiple meals.“
