Dublin Down Irish Pub and Eatery

Food was amazing (got chicken wings and the Celtic burger), friendly service, standard collection of Irish beverages. My only gripe is the name of the marble rye burger. My sister has bodily thrown patrons out of the pub where she worked for ordering the half Guinness drink by that name because of the history of the regiment.

Very unfriendly waitress. Made us wait hours for our order. Definitely given the cold shoulder by even the owner. All because my husband had a certain hat on and they assumed our political views. Ridiculously rude for someone who owns a business. We may not have the same political views, but we didn't stand there and call you garbage. Noticed you didn't mind taking our money.

Great pub and eatery.☘️. Cool bar area with plenty of booths, tables also some bar 🍺 seating area. There is an outside with tables and bar. Friendly staff good food. The Celtic Burger is very good 🙂 I was told the country cork Burger is very good as well. 🍔. We will definitely go back soon 😀.

The food was very good, I ordered a hamburger, the meat was on point, very good flavor and the fries were very good.

Waitress was sweet and kind and running her butt off. She was the only one there other than the cook. The appetizers were good. We had pub chips and artichoke dip and pub pretzels. The main courses were disgusting. The rueben was terrible. I think the meat was spoiled or something. The chicken wings were awful. Smelled like wet dog food, so didnt eat them. The pizza was ok and the cheese quesadilla was ok. The bill was over $100 which is INSANE. We were so excited to try this place based on reviews. We had to go inside due to a storm coming and there were a million flies everywhere it was 90 degrees inside and very dirty, i cant imagine what the kitchen looks like. Hopefully none of us get sick but we didnt eat much. Enough to let us know not to eat anymore.
