Goddess is one of our favorite local wineries. We like to support the smaller business! It isn't on the usual path of the rest, but it is usually worth the trip.

Nice lady and the place is nice inside. Walls covered in many fun objects and signs. Clean eating area. I was sad to heard no semi sweet wine left until atleast another month. I tried a drier wine, but not my taste, but drank it all as good wine. Not many food choices. My footlong hot dog was very good and not a standard hot dog flavor. Meatier taste. No beautiful views as right off rt 20 in Saybrook area. But soft curtains hide the road. Some nights a band and karaoke ?.

This place is totally amazing. !!! Drove up from Marion Ohio just to check out wineries and picked this one for the "Goddess" name. (Cause we are five Goddesses you know) The atmosphere is historic and the signs are so cool to read and enjoy. The owners are so nice and helpful. Great place to celebrate a 30th birthday. Wine samples are a great way to decide on which amazing wines to settle on for the night. This is a perfect neighborhood watering establishment and I highly recommend The Goddess as a great experience for anyone with a desire for a Cheers atmosphere. We will return soon. This was most definitely the worst wine place in the area! First impression was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke enough that we smelled like ash trays when we left! The wine was less then desirable and why would we eat when it smelled so bad! Don’t waste your time!!!

First and foremost it should never smell like a giant ash tray in a winery! It was so bad we smelled of cigarettes when we left there! Don’t waste your time when there are so many wonderful wineries in the area!!
