Now before I say too much, my wife had the clams and said they were Amazing. The service was impeccable as our server went out of her way for us. I however was not impressed with my fish, very bland. I also caught a long bone in my fish. The chef came out and apologized and they took some money off our bill. It just wasn't what we expected...I'm sorry.

We had an amazing dinner last night at Hil-Mak! First visit and we were not disappointed! Sea scallops were fresh and perfectly prepared, as well as my husband’s Shrimpster platter. You must have the twice baked potatoes, simply delicious! Having chef visit our table was a such a nice touch as well. Thank you Jeff! We can’t wait to return and plan to visit the market, though I’m not sure I can compete with the delicious entrees we enjoyed!

Cute small gem seafood restaurant. Great food, lots of selections and awesome service. We will definitely be returning.

Ordered take out, got the perch. It was the BEST fish I’ve ever had. I got a side of twice baked potatoes, which were also amazing. Highly recommend!!!

We drove from Erie for dinner. It took 40 minutes to get our food. It wasn’t busy and they had just opened. It started with the wrong salad dressing and didn’t get the opportunity to ask for what we ordered. Then 40 minutes later we got our food. Very small portions for the fish. I ordered the filet medium and it was so dried up and well done that I couldn’t eat it. When the waiter came back to check on it I told him I couldn’t eat it. It was much later before getting the check that I was offered a new steak by that time it was too late. I will definitely never go back

From the moment we walked in it was absolutely horrible. Service, Food, Prices. There was 5 of us celebrating a birthday. Not one of us had a good meal and we all had something different. I used to travel to come here to dine. It’s become sad and lost. Don’t waste your time or money.

Just went there last night and everything was fantastic there were six of us, we got appetizers, we got our meals and we got our sides. The service was amazing and the flavors fantastic with everything cooked perfectly there's not one complaint that the 6 of us could have found. We all left very full and extremely satisfied. It was quite an enjoyable evening to say the least!

Made reservations for our family of 11 , they said they could accommodate. They were unprepared to handle a party our size . Food took over 2 ours to come to our table . Food quality was deplorable, all dishes were cold and tasted like they were thrown together . We will not return to this restaurant. This used to be our favorite place to go , but things have changed and the restaurant is not organized .
