We used card for the payment and they Charged us TIP without our consent, we already left cash for the tip on the table and they were out of vegetables noddle when we ask them to get us more, they said it is closing time, I mean there still 25 minutes for closing. at least they should have told us when we got there that whatever is out there is only option available.

Panda Buffet, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP SERVING PASTA AS YOUR LO MEIN!!!! The texture of the noodles is completely different, I’ve worked in a Chinese restaurant before and that is NOT what lo mein looks or tastes like. You’re cutting corners and it shows.

Knock on wood it's always been a good experience for us at the panda we've always enjoyed going there when we can get there. For local Ashtabula it is a good selection of food. Who doesn't love a good buffet in Ashtabula! Plus when you're done you can walk around Drug Mart right next door.

Food was really good. Service was lacking. I had to put used plates on table behind us to make room. Atmosphere is always lacking. Cleaning tables is not their strong point as well as the seats.

I love it but they need more food options.

Disgusting, gross, cold and just generaly unappetizing. There is no reason to spend you money here unless you really want gastrointestinal issues. The food was luke warm (likely contributing to how everyone felt after). The quality was poor. The texture was somehow both crunchy and chewy. . . The best tasting food I had here was flavorless, it just got worse from there. Even the soft drinks were terrible, almost all soda and like no syrup. Stay far far away!

Last time i was there they used spaghetti pasta for the lo mein.

Update...2 yrs later the lo mein is back to normal and the food seems better quality. Price is decent. 4 stars now

Very sub-par food, lacking variety. If you’ve never been out of Ashtabula I guess you would think it was good, but trust me it is not. They do not even use warming dishes.
They use aluminum pans that keep the food lukewarm.
Don’t waste your money!!

I came to Ashtabula looking for a nice place to eat. I thought that the Panda buffet would be a great local business. The booth was ripped and covered in tape which stuck to my leg. The bathroom hand dryer didn’t work and there were no towels either. Then I go and get my food. There aren’t many options so I decide to start with Jell-O. I sit back down. There are dead fruit flies on my Jell-O. I went back up to find another option. I chose lo mein. I had one bite and realized that it wasn’t lo mein at all-it was spaghetti noodles! We left and went to Burger King. The Whoppers were great! I hope this helps!
