I had a decent sub a couple weeks ago so i went back. I tried the chicken parm with rigs. Absolutely sucked! Overcooked deepfried chicken and dry pasta. Had to use a sharp knife to cut the chicken instead of a fork. Then I could barely chew it. Somebody needs to learn how to cook!

After years of enjoying their food in now 3 different locations, I feel the need to finally leave a review. I was hesitant, as the quality of the food is always fantastic, but the best ability in life is availability, and the latest location change and hours have killed opportunities for countless patrons to enjoy your food. In a conversation last night with three South County families and one family from North of Jefferson, we all talked about how you are never open on weekends or evenings - the only time we are ever in Ashtabula. Maybe this works better for your local crowd, but for those of us wanting good food after a sporting event or a show while in town, you've killed our business and lost a lot of $$$. Business-wise I hope it works out as I love to see local businesses thrive, but the lack of ability to give you my money for those 10-20 times a year when we just want good food in Ashtabula is the reason for a 3-star rating. If this ever changes I will gladly go back to what this should have been - a 5-star rating on quality.

The spicy Italian sandwich really hit the spot. Photo only shows half cuz I devoured the other half before taking a picture. Big on flavor, definitely did NOT skimp on the meat, and was made to order. The deli has an inviting dining room, huge salad bar, big menu, and lots of daily specials. Will definitely go back.
