Avalanche Pizza is our favorite place to get dinner in Athens! The pizza is always good. And they accommodate a family gluten intolerance with kindness and professionalism. We love Avalanche!

As an OU alum, I already knew Avalanche was fantastic. Last hOUmecoming I had the loaded baked potato pizza, and it was phenomenal! This time it was still good, but their were only a few broccoli florets and a lot of stalk. We also had the Hawaiian and a cheese pizza for the little one. Both boys were more than satisfied, and the three year old kept asking for more all night. We also got the tiramisu. It was less sweet with a strong coffee taste, which I enjoyed. The poor guy working the front was brand new and struggling, but we were still taken care of.

So floppy all my toppings fell off immediately when picking up a piece.. I've ordered the same pizza before and not had an issue with it being this undercooked.
UPDATE: I was contacted by the general manager and appreciated the kindness and courtesy he displayed. I will get the pizza again soon and I'm sure it will be up to par. Thank you.

Ordered 3 specialty pies to take back to the cabin. The super shroom pie was the best of all three. If you like mushrooms this is the pie for you. I also like Greek and tried the Olympus pie and it was good but not on the mushroom level. The third was a pickle pizza and the wife liked it well enough but even she not a mushroom fanatic like myself said the shroom pizza was the best. We also tried the cannoli and it was good.
