I had the breakfast burger and dad had the biscuit stack. The food was great and very generous portions. When we left, Dad forgot his cell phone on the table. We only knew that because our server came running out of the door as we got to our vehicle. Unfortunately, I didn't remember her name but we are very thankful and will definitely be back.”

“The Brewpub was the perfect setting for my private event for approximately 45 people! The staff took great care of us, even opening a little early when we arrived to Athens ahead of schedule. The food was great, far better than most buffet food you encounter at events, and of course the beer was excellent. Sam and Chelsea were our contacts and we would absolutely work with them again.”

“We had the best time at West End today!! The ciders were amazing and the atmosphere was perfect but the star was the bartender, Sara! She was fun to chat with and answered all of our cocktail/mixology questions! By the end she made us a delicious cocktail (Midnight Stinger) that neither of us had had before but both of us loved! “The Crystal was a good bar to hang out in. They let you bring food in which is a big plus. We found a little loaf area where there was enough seating for a big group of people. There was Foosball and pool and some other games around. Crowded but not packed like the bar next door.”

“We were in town for the Ohio v WVU game and 11 of us dined here.

It's a university run restaurant which gives the personnel real experience. Also, because it is university run, they do not take gratuities --which seems odd in this day and age -- but rest assured-- it does NOT affect any part of the dining experience.

We had a fabulous meal and the service was excellent. Sam was our lead waitstaff, but, because we had 11, others chipped in to help.

We're a motley looking crew, but we had a great time here!!

“I stocked up for a week with items to keep my sweet tooth happy last weekend. I am in deep love with this place! The vanilla bean strawberry tart was hands down one of the most scrumptious pastries I’ve ever had. The pastry crust was divine. Cinnamon rolls are fantastic. Buttery and delicious and satisfying. Grabbed a cheesecake slice and once again delicious. I can’t say enough about how delightful these baked goods are. I’m waiting for them to open up today so I can stock up again for another week. This is my favorite obsession.”

“My wife went to school at Ohio University... and we were in town with 5 other friends for four days enjoying the local roads (on our motorcycles) and enjoying the town every afternoon and evening.

A very welcoming local bar with great bartenders and great drink choices at great prices. We visited several times over the four days we were there.

The Burrito Buggy went above and beyond for our event and made the weekend great for us, as they served over 100 people with zero ease and great food! 10/10 recommend, and hope we can book them for our event again next year!”

“This was my first time visiting Broneys. I was with my husband (his first time here too) and my daughter. We got a sampler appetizer, mushrooms, tenders and egg rolls. All of those items were delicious. I got the classic burger with onion rings, my husband got the mushroom Swiss burger and fries. My daughter got the tacos. Our waitress was amazing, friendly and very good at her job.”

“Front Room is usually alright. Drinks are mostly made right however, LOTS of ice and little product. Pricier than regular Starbucks. Service varies. You either get somebody super nice or someone who looks like they wanna crash out. Despite that, Front Room excels with its lighting and decor. Dim lighting is great on eyes and very aesthetically pleasing. Good central location and decent beverages but note the ice amount.”

“I have never been a fan of Tim Hortons! Just never cared for anything on the menu or their coffee drinks but I do love the strawberry coconut refreshers! I now have to 🛑 stop 🛑 to grab one on my way to work everyday🤦🏻‍♀️ Staff is always friendly at this location. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ for service and the refreshers I do have to say it’s time to get the credit card machine working right! This was a issue during Covid when I stopped and has been an ongoing problem for them (constant for months) to only accept cash, tap cards or Apple Pay your losing a lot of business. Everyday I’m there I watch uncountable customers walk out the door. Today I allowed another customer to cash app me and I paid cash for him. I completely understand 💩 happens but this is a issue that can be fixed with proper management and the big guys helping management resolve the issue. This is 2022 most NEVER carry cash, banks like mine tell me to wait till my card expires for a tap card, not everyone has a apple phone & my Apple Pay won’t approve my bank card! 0 out of 5 ⭐️ for fixing this issue in a timely manner”

The kitchen workers just stared at us and did not notify anyone we were waiting One kitchen employee would walk out to watch baseball that was playing on the TV.. The menu was crappy with little to choose from. The floor was sticky as well. We did not get any utensils sauces or crackers with our order. Nobody came to ask if we wanted refills or to even see how our meal was. I would not have left a tip if I paid at the end of our visit.”
