We love the food! The staff is always so friendly and helpful too. Order the lamb shahi kurma and mixed naan!
Came here for our Valentine’s Day dinner and was not expecting them to be as busy as they were. Our waiter was working his butt off to get everyone their orders and did it with a smile the whole time. Not only was the food fantastic but the customer service was one of the best I’ve had…. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Star of India is a simple and authentic restaurant with amazing food. The chicken masala, chicken curry, shrimp curry, veg samosa, navrattan biryani, and alu choley are highly recommended by customers. The prices are reasonable, and you get a large portion size. The atmosphere is mellow, with perfect lighting and soothing music, though the ambience is comfortable but a bit on the plain, functional side. Whether dining in or carrying out, the fantastic food and great service make it worth every penny. Customers keep coming back for more, making it an amazing spot for a delicious meal. The service is attentive, super friendly, and the place is kept very clean. With a good variety of Indian dishes, everything is made fresh in their kitchen, from very mild to really hot and spicy. Customers praise the chicken tikka masala and navrattan biryani. The naan is also a standout. The owner is kind and funny. It’s probably Athens' best-kept secret for excellent, affordable, fresh Indian food, with plenty of leftovers for days to come.
