We were sat at a table that had ants all over it. When we asked to be moved, we noticed multiple dirty tables and were sat at another table with ants. We left without ordering anything. Will not be back.

I had gotten the hand breaded chicken tenders (5pc), just something easy breezy but the chicken tasted stale/old & the coleslaw was gross. The green beans & mashed potatoes were the only good ones I ate from my order.

I’ve given the Bob Evans in Athens, Ohio more chances than I probably should have, but each visit has been a letdown. The service is consistently slow and disorganized—even when the restaurant isn’t busy. I’ve waited over 30 minutes for a simple breakfast, only to have it come out lukewarm and missing sides. Staff seem overwhelmed or uninterested, and there’s very little communication about delays or mistakes.

The food itself is bland and feels mass-produced. Portions have gotten smaller over time, but the prices certainly haven’t. What used to feel like a comforting, reliable spot now feels tired and careless. There are better local options in Athens where you can get a fresher, friendlier meal without the frustration.

Ordered take out, had to wait about a half hour. Food here is usually great. Today it was cold when we got it and we didn't get everything we ordered. The service was good, the people are very nice.

Took forever to get served.. what's up with the non existent desserts menu? 4.99 for salad/, soup and dessert but $1 more for pie... 99% of your desserts are pies lol

An idiot with a camera

They treat their employees like trash. Absolutely no support, no help even after communication about needing help, its not understaffed in the slightest they just dont schedule people. Everyone is out for their own, & doesn't care that 1 person can't handle the load of 3 ppl.

Went in for breakfast because I’ve had good experiences at this location. I normally am understanding as I am a waitress myself but this was just unacceptable. Our server claimed they were busy but there was hardly anyone in the place. She gave our food to the wrong table so we had to wait an extra 20 minutes on top of the hour we had already been waiting. Never refilled our drinks and only asked us if we wanted a refill when we were already done eating. Also once our food came out only half of it was decent. My home fries were cold. Not even warm just cold. And my eggs were inedible. I also heard our server talking and laughing with coworkers so she must not have been that busy. When we finally got our checks a lot of the staff was just standing behind the counter talking. Just overall food and service were not great at all.

I've had nothing but good experiences here other than today. Our food was lukewarm at best when we received it, and one of the orders were wrong. We were one of 5 tables in the restaurant and I saw everyone waiter other than my own.
Our waitress disappeared and didn't come back to the point my mom had to go up to the counter to ask for straws (which she said she was going to get us) because it was 5 minutes and she was not in sight.
It also took us 30ish minutes just to get our rolls.
As we were leaving we saw her walking into the closed section and on her phone, so I have a feeling I know why our food was cold and we never saw her.
Waitress was nice but she did NOT know how to properly waitress.
