We have been going here for a while now. I really do not understand why. Yet this eatery can be delicious or not. The food here is too inconsistent for me to trust anything other than beef here. Cheese sauce was diluted to white water. Both our entrees tastes like the meat was reused. Either extremely salty or then no flavor. It legit reminded me of the taco boats we would get for highschool lunches. Not sure what's going on. Yet I don't think we'll be back.

My shrimp fajitas were great, my wife wasn't happy with her fish tacos, and the fish was overcooked, but on the positive side, they made the tacos over, and they were fine.

This place has it all! Every single dish we have tried has been a home run! I knew this place would be great on our first visit when we ordered guacamole and our waitress/Owner said that she wasn't serving guacamole today because she didn't like the quality of the avacados!!! What a great answer! Great prices too. We will always come back here for our mexican nights. Oh and they are just Rockstar people. We have only been greeted with warmth and then very well taken care of. Sorry for the half eaten food pics.. we started devouring before I remembered to take pics.

Hardest working staff I've ever seen. Lulu does it all- buses tables, entertains children, refills drinks, and whatever else may need done. Great atmosphere, our server even put on children's shows on the TV to keep a toddler entertained. Food is always excellent. Winner of the best Mexican restaurant in Athens for a reason.

I think this was by far the best guacamole I have ever had! Fajita Jalisco was fantastic. Great service! We will be back! No beer but they said you could bring your own! Food was so good we didn’t miss it!

My wife and I were in Athens for the night. Stopped by Lulu's and it did not disappoint. I had the burrito filled with chicken, steak, chorizo, rice and beans topped with the white queso. It was delicious. The wife had the Chile Verde and was impressed. I'm glad I ignored the concierge recommendation and went with my intuition. If we ever come back to Athens again, we will for sure be back.
