My wife went to school at Ohio University... and we were in town with 5 other friends for four days enjoying the local roads (on our motorcycles) and enjoying the town every afternoon and evening.
A very welcoming bar with great bartenders and great drink choices... especially the draft list.
We were there mid-afternoon for beers and darts. Open mic started up soon after we arrived and that was pretty good... although pretty loud considering that there were only six of us in the place -- coulda dialed it back a bit.
We'll be back.

I love everything about Jackie O's; both of their Athens locations are great and I look forward to trying the Columbus location one day soon! But please, please, bring back the feta dressing! It was the best salad dressing I have ever had, and now I miss it every time I visit.

Ohio University game day—Halloween weekend. Found this place uptown. Upon opening, they became very busy. However, we had excellent service from Elise. The portobello mushroom sandwich was phenomenal! Side salad was very nice! Will be back the next time we are in town!

Good beer, very average food. Don’t get a salad- it was wilted and brown. The chips that came with the burger were too soggy/stale to eat. But the beer was worth it!
