I love the vibes of this place… but the SMELL. Oh my goodness it’s like roses and oranges were waiting to greet me at the door. I’ll be back for sure.
Such a great place to grab food and drinks! Being a local, I love the local food and focus quality and supporting our economy. We love going up for some brews and an Ohio hot honey on occasion.
Jackie O's, off the top of my head, there's only two things you could do to make your location even better: 1.) Start using beef tallow instead of industrial oils for fried foods. You could probably partner with RL Valley for suet to make it all local too! 2.) Albeit controversial, IMO, you should remove the "no firearms" sign from your window; Denying good, free, and lawful Americans their natural rights and the ability to protect their families from people who don't follow the rules (like those implied by your sign!) is never cool and doesn't keep anyone safer.

It's a nice tap room and if you love Bourbon barrel aged beers they've got your fill. My only complaint was the parking lot. It's kind of hard to find.
Jackie O’s taproom is one of my favorite stops for a low key drink in Athens, OH. It’s located off the main streets for a more hometown feel. They serve tons of local brews as well as wines and lower proof drinks for patrons looking for anything other than beer. I’d highly recommend the location. They have plenty of off street parking as well as super clean restrooms. The staff is always friendly and attentive to your needs. They have tasty cakes, cookie treats and cold sandwiches for a quick bite also. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as they are dog friendly.
