I was double charged for my groceries. Be careful when you pay if you can’t afford the $480 charge I’m having to deal with.
It’s been 9 days since this occurred and they are saying it will be 21 days before they can refund it.
The managers at Athens Kroger were rude and didn’t believe I was double charged.
It took seconds for the money to come out and 21 days to return it. The disrespect that the store treated me with was appalling. I will never shop there. Come to find out they waited 7 days to even request the refund.
The manger on duty went to help unload a truck while I stood there and waited. They kept saying they didn’t even have a transaction for that amount. I ended up having to call the the 1-866-544-8962 #, and they clearly saw I was double charged.
I would think if you take someone’s money by mistake you would want to return it as quickly as possible.

Hey aren’t your employees unhappy due to low staff numbers and lack of fair wages? That’s what I heard. Like some stores stay purposefully understaffed so they can profit as much as possible? I heard the new deal would lead to $1.80 raise over the span of 3 years. Seems pretty low. How much more will the CEO get after 3 years? He would get just $1.80 raise too, right? These are a few things I heard, just checking in!

The produce and meat department are great, I love to buy groceries here, but getting harder and harder to shop here because I do not want to check out my whole cart load of groceries, as I do not work here. Bring cashiers back until closing please. No one wants to scan a cart load of groceries themselves.

The checkout process at this Kroger is beyond deplorable! There are 20 some self check-out registers and equally, the same number of employee check out lanes, yet they refuse to staff and operate the employee registers, forcing customers to go to self checkout to avoid the horrendous lines in the few lanes that are actually operated by cashiers and baggers, or wait 30 mins or more in line for an actual human to check you out. To Corporate: I love shopping at Athens Kroger. You have the best produce and meat. However, I have been very disappointed at the lack of cashiers and being made to check out a full cart of grocercies myself. I do not work here....Put cashiers back on until closing time please. Signed alot of people that will switch to shopping at other stores.
Only option to checkout is self checkout. Had whole cart of groceries before 10pm.

I'm writing Yes because I like this store and all but 1 specific employee, but 5 people deep and you aren't opening another register. This is out of hand and total BS. You're asking elderly people and people with a huge basket of items and kids to use self check out. It stops them at 35 items. It's not like we get a discount for checking ourselves out. Get it together and give a crap about your customers. You're Kroger for crying out loud. You own every large chain in the US.

Definitely need a Kroger like this one in Nelsonville. The wanna be Kroger in Nelsonville is way too small for all the communities and areas that it serves. They don't carry half what you are looking for and no seletion.

I love this store. The selections and customer service is what keeps bringing me back. Click list is the best thing since sliced bread. The only thing that I could find that needs some improvement is the potty. It used to be spotless. No matter when you went in it was clean. I miss that.
