Ya know, I never really understood the concept of eating fish to the fullest until I went here. Once you enter, you are greeted with a fishing rod and a 12 gallon bucket of earth worms. Long John Silver's is consistent. It's not my favorite fast food in the world because it is almost always greasy. The fish is usually flaky and mild. The batter is crisp and light, but it is best served fresh because if the batter absorbs any moisture, the fish becomes soggy.
I went thru the drive through and the service was fine but my order was a complete mess. I can't eat seafood and I ordered the three piece chicken for myself and the shrimp and fish dinner for my husband. $24 later and a half hour drive home I discovered they gave me a 2 piece fish dinner with my husband's meal. So disappointing. I had just finished a 6 day work week and was looking forward to not cooking. I tried calling the restaurant but no one answered. ...
