I have dietary allergies so very rarely eat or order out. I’m currently in the process of moving to Athens. It’s hard to find restaurants that feel like they take me seriously and will take appropriate precautions.
Mauvette had been amazing about hearing me and steering me towards the options that work for me. This is no easy task. She has even lost sales by warning me away from a purchase. She is a gem!

Was looking for something new for dinner, fortunately I happened to stumble upon Mauvettes. We ordered a jerk chicken entree and lamb chops, with a side order of the fried plantains. Oh my goodness, everything was absolutely incredible! I never would’ve have imagined finding such a hidden gem in Athens. The jerk chicken had a great char while still being super tender. The spice level on it was perfect. My girlfriend absolutely loved the lamb chops, she said they were the best...
