The Richland Ave McDonald's in Athens is well run. They are quick and the staff is friendly. I'm not a fan of McDonald's food, but it is convenient when trying to grab a breakfast sandwich while heading to a game.

Absolutely horrible. My parents and I came through this McDonald's after visiting OU on Friday afternoon (around 1 pm) and now we have all fallen sick, most likely with food poisoning from eating here. This is the only place that we all ate at together that could have made us sick, and it did exactly that. My mother quite literally just passed out in front of me because of how sick she's feeling. Not only has the food caused this to our family, the service was below piss poor. Everyone working there needs to be retrained on friendliness to customers and overall service. I get it's a McDonald's but there has to be some level of unity and slight professionalism and yet, there was none. Trust that I will literally never return to this store for anything ever again.

I've been to many, many McDonald's in my lifetime and this is by far the worst. I've gone three times, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Every time the service is incredibly slow, the food is mild and fries are cold, plus the employees are apathetic or actively defensive. Could not discourage someone more strongly not to visit this particular McDs, especially because I'm typically a big fan of the franchise.

Took over 25 minutes to get a double cheeseburger and diet
Ordered through Door Dash. They go pick up and McDonald's doesn't have my order. I sent them my receipt of my order and when I received my order it wasn't even close to what I ordered. On top of that everything in bag was Ice Cold. This McDonald's location has went to hell since 2020.

I ordered a McRib with no pickles or onions. They served me a bun with BBQ sauce and NO MEAT. They did remake it correctly for me. But did they think I wanted a meat free McRib?
