We had Mel’s Burger and Chicken sandwich with fries. Food was good and fries had good seasoning on them. We will be eating here again. Everyone was friendly.

And, lemme tell ya folks, I ain't takin' bout a Seattle grunge band...ya heard?I'm wildly speculating here, but Mel's is quite likely the proverbial oasis that Garth Brooks wanted to slip on down to. Moreover, there's an abundance of friends lounging at Mel's quaint tavern and outdoor veranda, but this ain't no low place, boy howdy.Get it together people. If you're gonna get drunk and wanna feel like a fresh daisy, pack up the family in the station wagon and fire on dahn to Mel's Roadhouse. You can thank me later.Sincerely,Matthew

I have an idea the crowd is a one of kind! The people were really outgoing and I only wish I could have stayed to sing a few more kareokes! Things didn't go as planned, though I had a safe ride home, a very nice couple from Chauncey I believe, and had a chance to hear a gentleman sing that I hadn't heard in awhile now, ( he has gotten better!) I appreciate getting out and about with people. Thank you! Good luck with the business!!!
