The chicken was phenomenal but the sides were very disappointing. The green beans weren’t seasoned at all and the mashed potatoes were watery and unseasoned as well. I’m assuming they were made from a box. They also forgot my macaroni and cheese and the employee at the counter wasn’t very friendly either. I’ll return for the chicken and hope that they improve their sides! A little salt and pepper would do wonders.
Miller’s Chicken is hands-down the best fried chicken in Athens—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned every time. The sides are just as delicious, especially the mashed potatoes and coleslaw, making every meal feel homemade. The portions are generous for the price, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. If you’re anywhere near Athens, this is a must-try spot for comfort food done right!
