I'm here for a conference and will eat several times while I'm here. I had a waffle and vegan chicken. It was pretty good!
Vegetarian options: Today's menu has a ton of vegetarian options.

I'm sure the other food is good, but unfortunately, there are basically no vegan options except for pasta with plain red sauce and raw vegetables/salad. Very disappointing. You'd think a dining hall would cater to all food preferences better.

First time going here yesterday. Very disappointed.*Kalhamata:-Found a hair in my crab dip.-No tongs for pita chips, had to grab w/ my hands. Rather unhygienic.-The "caramelized" onions were not translucent; barely charred.-Green beans were too al dente; almost raw. -Pizza was high school grade cardboard.-Crab dip & meatballs are probably the best dishes at this station.*Bamboo:-Chicken in the chicken & veggies was cooked well, nice & tender.-Pork lo mein was under-sauced, meat overcooked; practically rubber, flavor profile too simple for a complex dish (only onion, garlic & ginger).-Spicy orange veggies weren't spicy.-Sushi rice wasn't sushi grade, it has to be cooked with salt, sugar & vinegar to get the proper tang. The grain size was too large to be considered sushi. Rice was too loose so I can tell it's not glutinous sticky rice. Also if they put their rice paddles in bowls of cool water, globs of rice won't stick to them. -Didn't get to try the fried rice; rice cooker wouldn't open, workers weren't much help. Just standing back & staring. At least this station can properly caramelize an onion though.Grill:-Mac salad could use another sprinkle of salt, otherwise adequate.-The dressing on the pasta salad gave all the ingredients an unsatisfactory sliminess. The cheese cubes looked like blocks of tofu. The salads at this station weren't properly mixed so u could see the top layer dried from too much air exposure. I had to mix them myself.Nothing but desserts:Please replace the writing on the ice cream menu. The chalk is really faded and I couldn't properly read it. Also Velvet brand ice cream has alot more interesting flavors in stores than what you offer. I'd suggest expanding the offers or try a limited edition new flavor every so often.I didn't get to try all the stations & not sure I want to. Tried to ask the reception how I could provide feedback or suggestions but they had no idea. So glad I didn't spend any money to get in. I would've asked for a refund. A former employee informed me today that most of the student workers behind the counters don't use hair nets and if they do, they're small "skull caps". I was also told that most workers in there don't fully know how to cook. That's partly why the quality is subpar. There's other better dining options overall on campus. I'd say try it once for an old college try then skip it altogether.

Nelson is a very good food hall with classic American food and some Asian food along with pizza and some other random stuff sometimes
This picture speaks for itself. This is supposed to be a burger
