Pleasant Hill is the best winery in Athens. Great wine, great atmosphere, and great people. Love coming here all year round!

This place was so cozy. Loved it. We had the Italian wedding soup, with Ricotta bread and fruit and it was wonderful. We also has the Harmony Road Rose which was fabulous. Definitely will be back.

Went with a few of my girlfriends to Pleasant Hill for my 23rd birthday. Not only were they incredibly accommodating but the venue, wine selections, and staff were exceptional. The owner offered tastings and provided our group with knowledge about the different wines and the processes behind the scenes. Cannot highly recommend this place enough and look forward to visiting again!

Wow! We had decent expectations of this place after driving by but after we finally had a chance to stop by for a tasting our expectations were far exceeded. The property is beautiful with great outdoor seating areas and outdoor games for kids. We went with our 6 and 9 year olds and there were other kids for them ti play with while my wife and I caught up after a busy week.
The wine was great, both red and white, dry and sweet. I’m into dry reds with tobacco, leather and alfalfa/manure notes and their Leland Reserve (Cabernet Franc) was FANTASTIC. Super complex and rich. My wife and I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful experience for my first wine tasting. The appetizer was delicious and the view is stunning!

We walked in with 12 people 20 mins before closing. They were very accommodating. We even got to sit out back and enjoy our flights and watch the sunset! Beautiful winery and great wine. Highly recommend this winery.

Delicious wine, great staff and food. We have never been here before and loved every minute of it. The scenery was beautiful and they have tons of outdoor seating options. The inside is cozy and clean. They have outdoor and indoor restrooms which was great! They got busy quick but we were there in a Saturday afternoon. We got the bacon blue cheese chips and they were incredible!! We loved the wine so much we brought bottles home with us. They have a cute kitty that hangs out. They have a good parking area and offer overflow parking as well. The outdoor seating areas have heaters so you are comfortable. It’s a fun place to have some wine and relax in a wonderful atmosphere.

Good atmosphere, very friendly staff, and very beautiful scenery! We ran into the owner and he gave us samples of different wines so we could see what we liked best. All the food is made by hand and was absolutely delicious! I will definitely come back when I'm in the area!

This is a lovely vineyard and restaurant. The wines are divine, and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You feel like you're coming home to a cozy wood cabin. 100% recommend a visit to Pleasant Hill if in the Athens, OH area.
