Tavolino is one of my favorite Athens restaurants (actually all time restaurants). the foccachia bread is heavenly and fluffy and so amazing. Emily's soups are so good. The cream of mushroom is my favorite, but I haven't had one yet that is bad. I love buying her freezer portions and having them on hand for a quick meal. Everything is hand made with care and thought. Her attention to those with dietary restrictions makes her stand out. I love eating here and I love the restaurant.

Very friendly, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and vibe. The staff were all very friendly and explained their menu options in detail, and checked on us frequently. The food was delicious, great people and amazing vibes.
Vegetarian options: I got very lucky going on a day there were serving vegetarian soup and meals, they do one set meal, and soup or salad a day so it would be best to call in advance if you have dietary concerns.
I've been to Italy many times and appreciate the luv she puts into her cuisine! Hard to find that now!

I really want to love this place. The owner is super friendly and the place is cozy and reminiscent of classic trattorias. But I have to say, the carbonara was pretty bad. Watery and overcooked. I’m hoping their other dishes are great and I’m certainly willing to give them another shot. Please fix the carbonara!(the pasta you used was too thin and mushy, maybe try a rigatoni. If you can’t get guanciale use pancetta, more black pepper and pecorino):)

This place is amazing! Everything is made from scratch and absolutely delicious. My girlfriend and I went on a Saturday night when they have a fixed menu and we were reluctant because she has some food allergies and intolerances. The owner was SUPER accommodating and she made some items just for her. We had an amazing time and I can’t say enough good things about the food and Emily! You can tell this is her passion! I wish we didn’t live 6 hours away or we would be there much more often! Keep up the great work, Emily, we look forward to coming back to Athens!
